Definitely a budget place. The rooms are clean, but very small. Food is o.k., sleeping is bit restless with the street noise, but the roof restaurant is nice, comfortable and a great place to hang out.

i was in Arusha Tanzania to avoid spending NYE going into 2016 in Kenya i dread that experience, the beddings were clean, room was always tidy after house keeping as it should be,i say this because some of the extras that Arusha backapackers have, like the wifi and the chill out lounge served their purpose pretty well some establishment would try and maximize... I imagine if you are travelling by yourself or looking to meet other travellers this would be a good choice, especially if you are very unfamiliar with Tanzania/East Africa. If you are looking for budget accommodation, there are much better options in Arusha. The rooms are clean and the hotel is certainly secure but you can pay much less for... More

Very neat and decent place for backpackers. It's a good place to stay around if you want to travel cheap. Good location, nice rooftop bar and helpfull staff and very nice showers.I liked this place, except for the breakfast. The breakfast was not good at all.

Best hot shower so far in Africa at reasonable price, clean room, nice restaurant, free wifi, accept credit card aaand US dollars! Walking distance to a big store has everything- nakumatt, kind of like target in the U.S. I stayed at a lot of hostels/backpacker's places before. Probably top 5 Ask for window side room if you'd like some lights... More

Decent location, on the outskirts of town. However, double room was tiny with nothing but a small bed, small desk and chair. Had the feel of a prison cell. No windows. Reasonable rooftop bar though, and good bread with the breakfast. Moved to another hostel in Arusha - you can find nicer places elsewhere for less money!

Myself and two friends stayed in a shared dorm before climbing Meru. The room was barely big enough for one bed, let alone two bunks. We also didn't feel our bags were safe in the rooms. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the roof bar / restaurant was a lovely place to sit. However, there are better (and cheaper... More

Reasonably well located and a warm welcome from staff. Rooms tiny, just space to move around in the dorms. Road fairly noisy below. Dubious security with lots of cleaning staff in and about all day. Good bar area upstairs to relax but you are not allowed to bring up non resident guests or eat/drink your own food in any communal... More

We spent a night here before heading out on safari. The rooms are a bit dark (we rejected the first one offered in favour of one that actually had a window), but are alright for the price. Unfortunately, our opinion of the hotel was drastically lowered by their terrible recommendation of a safari company that they "always use, and is... More
