Stayed in Room 6 which was very nice and had a good hot shower after a long day trip and drive to Ngorongoro. The rooms are clean and the hotel though simple is cozy. Swimming pool...quite small but clean. The hotel is a about 150metres from the main road through a local village, its therefore very quiet. Staff are friendly.... More

A very comfortable small African bungalow hotel with views of Meru mountain. The rooms are well equipped and nicely decorated. The small restaurant provides a range of basic dishes and there is a small bar. The gardens are small but delightful and set around a very clean pool. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The management are extremely helpful... More

We and my wife stayed here for 2 nights between arriving in Tanzania and starting our safari and selected it because it looked like a much nicer place to chill out after a flight rather than your more standard hotel in "central" Arusha (i.e. it had a garden, pool and sunloungers). It also seemed better value for money than the... More

Only stayed for one night as a stopover between our flight to Africa and the start of our safari, and this proved ideal for the purpose. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful and the food was excellent, both for our evening meal and breakfast. The rooms are not big, but are comfortable and spotlessly clean; ideal for what... If you're looking for somewhere budget, a bit basic, off the main drag but walking distance from the action then I would recommend this place. We actually enjoyed the 20 minute walk into town and felt really surrounded by the real "Africa". The staff are really helpful and friendly and they made us feel very welcome and at ease. Despite... We booked our return stay only because it was convenient to do so. Clean, good service and comfortable rooms. The stay would have been so much better if the lodge was not located down a dirt track off the main road. However, our hosts and their staff were friendly and welcoming.

I stayed for one week here with the couple who run the place, Patricia and her husband, from Slovenia. They are a very welcoming couple who are doing their best to give guests an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, the lodge is set off the main tarmac road and there is a terrible narrow dirt road one must traverse to reach the... More

We stayed at Ahadi for one night as part of a safari and must admit we were a little disappointed on arrival as it was less luxurious than the lodges we had stayed in at the national parks. The hotel is small, the rooms are clean but pretty basic, pool is clean but the sun loungers have seen better days... More

So I stayed here for one night on the way through Arusha before my safari, and for a few hours during the day on the return journey. Was not impressed. For the first night we arrived late so did not use any of the food facilities etc. Location is in the middle of town (but not the nice part!) down... More

Ahadi lodge is a perfect place to stay a few days to chill. Everybody is very friendly, vera helpful and the food is excellent. The main reason is they prepare eveything alone (bread, cakes, even nacho chips..) and buy fruits and vegetable from the local market. They have a great location, not to far from centre and far enough to... More
