We spent our first two nights at Kiboko lodge which is perfectly run by ex street children. Very welcoming atmosphere and good food. The breakfast place is great to watch birds. The village walk was one of the highlights for our kids, with a whole school class singing for us.

The staff is excellent, the accomodation true African style, the dining lounge breaths luxury in the true African way: charcoil burners aside the table does keep the temps enjoyable on colder evenings and is soo much more romantic than our modern days central heating system at home. The views and breakfast area are breathtaking and in the middle of nature.

It was already our second stay at Kiboko lodge and again we had a great time! The staff, former street children were great especially with our two daughters (2y and 4y), the room were clean and food was good. After a day long safari we arrived at the highly anticipated Kiboko Lodge. Located 5.5 km away from the main road in the depths of banana trees, maize fields and acacias, Kiboko Lodge is a beautiful and warm-welcoming lodge. The setting, food, and service was one of a kind and made our stay a one to never forget. We participated...

I stayed 5 days at Kiboko Lodge, a great place in the middle of nature and true african life. Thestaff in this lodge come from the Wattoto foudation, streetboys who found a new future. The are perfectly service minded. Good value for money. From the lodge trips ar organised, by foot or bike, a great way to discover the area.

We were put here last minute by our tour company ( not Kiboko lodge's fault) Nice setting and good food, looked after us very well, allowed to keep room until 5 pm as we had a later evening flight but we were bitten alive in the bed rooms as mozzy net had big holes in it.

We are in the area for business regularly, and always stay at Kiboko: it is quiet, away from the noise of town, the staff is always welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Great view of Mt. Meru and Kilimanjaro ( when it is not cloudy). Great bird watching! The staff are young men that...
