we stayed one night there during Ramadan, the hotel is opposite a mosque with a very performant Hi-Fi sound system, something like a rock concert, almost every two hours there were prayings lasting quite long... so you do not sleep much! we asked and the reception said it is like this every day, not only during Ramadan. The hotel is...

I was a little hesitant to stay here and was not my first choice, but I ended up being pleasantly surprised! The building is older, almost institutional hallways and heavy wooden doors. The lighting is so-so. However, the building itself is safe, with a guard outside and very friendly front-desk staff. The rooms are reasonably clean and have bednets, working...

After staying at different budget accommodations throughout Tanzania, ABA Hotel is without a doubt my first choice. Why? Cheap rate (15USD/person), great showers with plenty hot water, free wi-fi, located in the middle of Arusha town, friendly staff, delicious breakfast incl. fresh fruit, juice, coffee/tea, eggs, bread. This year I was back for the 3rd time and stayed for 10...

The food here were remorable. The omelet for breakfast was so delicous, and the lunch or dinner were also far beyond the value of price. The food was made freshly, served in big dishes...

I'm staying in Arusha for a month for research. Since I'm a student, I needed an inexpensive place to stay. I wasn't sure what to expect for $15 a night, but I love ABA hotel! I've already been here for a week and it's really great. The staff are extremely helpful and I've also been enjoying the food at Mt....

ABA is a good option for budget travellers. Alfred, the manager, and the staff are very helpful in whatever you need and can help you organize individual trips and Safaris according to your budget. The rooftop view is beautiful and the bar being planned there will make the place even more attractive. We stayed there several times whenever passing through...

We stayed a total of 3 nights at the ABA Hotel, the biggest draws for us were: friendly staff (Coletta and the young man who work in the reception are both lovely and accomodating), spacious rooms, fairly convenient location, free wifi and good breakfast. Some of the areas we think require improvement are: -the cost of laundry is extortionate, the...

I stayed at the Aba guest house before beginning my safari in the Serengeti as part of the package. I ended up missing the first part of the safari and having the worst food poisoning of my life - and I've been to Delhi. I wasn't even allowed to postpone the part of the trip I had mised out on...
