Stayed for just one night but it was very pleasant. Serene setting overlooking the lake and away from the bustle of Arusha and a welcome cool change from the heat of Zanzibar. Rooms have no air conditioning but the overhead fan was enough while I was there. Wifi limited to lobby area. The food was not alacarte which was disappointing...

We only stayed a night, on our way to a safari, but I wish we would have stayed! The grounds are beautiful, the food quite good, and the staff are so nice and atentive you couldn't ask for more. The rooms are spacious, and surrounded by beautiful gardens. There is much to do around the hotel too!

One of the best lodges with clean well appointed rooms. The views from the rooms is fantastic of the lake. The rooms are in separate huts with thatched roofs and tiled floors. The dining area is in a main building which is very nice and well maintained old house of someone famous. Only trouble was that there is no wi-fi...

Perfectly nice place. Helpful folks working, good food, nice rooms, comfy beds, etc. they gave us a cake for our honeymoon and put it in the room along with flower petals. After a 20-hour travel day, i was exhausted and road worn and they were so sweet and that cake was absolutely amazing.
