Me and my daughter stayed in this friendly lodge for 10 days in January 2016. An accident made our stay longer than planned. We hade beautiful views over Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. We stayed in comfortable and beautiful small cotteges! We had very good food in the nice restaurant. There was a nice pool and free wifi in the restaurant...

Our flight to tanzania was overnight, so we decided to start our safari and beach trip with an easy first day and catch up on our rest - and we very glad we did. We stayed at Kigongoni after arriving in Dar earlier in the day and flying to Kilimanjaro airport. This decision was one of our best for the...

The layout of this place is great. They lodges are all staggered so you really feel like you're in your private oasis. Some of the rooms are quite a ways away from the main lodge, so if you do have mobility issues, you'll want to ask for a closer room. Loved lounging by the pool.

Absolutely wonderful lodge prior to our safari. The location seemed perfect after a long flight. The staff at Kigongoni Lodge were fantastic, friendly, pleasant and very helpful. The scenery was breathtaking and we had a great view of Mt Meru. Our cottage was cozy and very clean. The bed was comfortable. Quite a bit of stairs but didn't mind because...

The staff at Kigongi Lodge is absolutely wonderful. They go out of their way to make you feel at home and tend to all your needs. We stayed for 2 nights and it was very comfortable. You get your own bungalow. There is a bit of stairs for some of the lower bungalows and there's Internet! But only at the...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kigongoni Lodge - is has a beautiful setting, the cottages are absolutely lovely and the staff is incredibly friendly. We felt very well taken care of and the convenient location near Arusha and Moshi is ideal for the beginning and end of your safari trip. However, the place in itself is great for...

We stayed one night after our flight to Kilimanjaro Airport and before embarking on our safari to Tarangire. Location: Great location with a wonderful view over the landscape. No other buildings occupy the view, and there is absolute tranquility. Top! Acoommodation: You have your own bungalow for yourself. Our bungalow was very spacious, not only the bedroom with a large...

Kigongoni Lodge is about an hour from Kilimanjaro airport and 20 minutes from Downtown Arusha. It was a perfect overnight stay for us before we started on our safari. Located in a small coffee estate the lodge has a rural setting and is actually quite a lovely stop. In fact we regretted that we were there for just the night...

We finished our trip to Rwanda and Tanzanian safari at Kingongoni Lodge. We liked the look of it online and so, rather than do a one-nighter then scamper off on the long homeward air journey, we elected to spend an extra night there to relax and recharge our energy before our long plane ride to Perth, Australia. This was an...
