This hotel had a nice pool (important for the kids), however staff was not very friendly, rooms were a bit old and food was dissapointing. I don't think it was worth the money. The room seemed nice from the first sight, with a round (!) bed, but it was a old. The bathroom was not very clean, and when we...

Excellent stop-off point in Arusha; friendly hotel staff. Hotel is a little bit tired, but pleasant enough and with good access to nearby restaurants and shopping. Rooms on upper floors have good view and end rooms tend to be bigger.

Arrived there on a chilly evening reception was ok the lady gave us a good rate and we settled gor the hotel but that was the good bit. The good was little and cold. The wifi was on and off and the lady at the cyber was almost rude. And finally we almost missed breakfast since some kid was "eating...

This hotel is well established and has positive attributes like its location, friendly staff and beautiful pool. My room on the first floor was tired and rather cluttered although large in size. It was clean enough but the bathroom, furniture and even the kettle were well used. The buttons on the two otherwise impressive lifts were well worn also. Breakfast...

I do like this place but not very much because the service is quite slow and food is quite good but could do a bit more. But it is still quite good for a travellers taste. The accomadation is good in this hotel because the rooms are very clean and feels like home.

Spent two night in transit between rural Tanzania and Europe. Had a comfortable stay in a large, quiet room with great views of Mount Mehru. The poolside restaurant offers good Italian food and has friendly staff. The downside of the hotel is that it could do with some refurbishment. Some would say this adds atmosphere.....But several more modern hotels in...

I stayed at the Impala Hotel with my best friend for 1 night before & 1 night after safari when we had airport connections. The hotel is very pleasant, the décor lovely in the lobby. We ate in the Chinese & Italian restaurant which was amazing, especially after safari when we hadn't eaten properly, the sweet & sour chicken was...

Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst on a charity cycle ride through Tanzania. Rooms were clean and beds comfy (especially after having spent 2 nights in 2 man tents!). Plenty of hot water and powerful showers. Nice bar area. Wifi a bit hit and miss. Although I didn't use the pool it did look inviting. Only thing that...

After long road trip, I got back pain. My friend told me that traditional Thai massage is available at Lotus Spa in the Impala Hotel. It really worked and relieved the pain. (so I decided to write) It was not massage just for relaxing, but one for curing muscle and joints pain. The rate looks relatively high, while it is...
