We stayed at this Lodge for one night and 1/2 day. While the staff were cordial, the grounds were lovely and the rooms were indeed nice, it had no personality. The one night we decided to eat dinner in the casual "bar" restaurant. The manager (not sure if he was the beverage manager or what), assembled with friends in the...

We stopped in for lunch and a beer before traveling home to Canada. The grounds are gorgeous, lovely pools and paths, gardens, etc. We ate outside and enjoyed lunch and drinks in the garden. Afterwards we walked to the coffee shop and enjoyed a latte. Great spot for some shade and a nice walk within the bustling Arusha area.

Like so many people, The Arusha Coffee lodge was our first hotel after arriving on the African continent...and it would seem pretty hard to expect or want more than this wonderful hotel delivers. We arrived on the "early" overnight flight (arriving at 11:00 pm) and arrived at the hotel just before midnight. Unlike many other hotels where arriving at late...

Lovely place. Beautifull rooms. Friendly helpful staff. Restaurant and bar lacks atmosphere. Could do with some music, the quietest bar I have ever been in. Reataurant also not too great. Was not impressed by food

Having read a lot of the previous reviews, there's really not a lot to add. We were booked into the Arusha Coffee Lodge by Sanctuary Retreats, the amazing organization through which we booked our Tanzania/Kenya/Uganda Safari. We met our SR representative at JRO and 45 minutes later we warmly greeted at the Lodge and quickly shown to our room. It...

Located on the edge of Arusha near the airport, this beautifully landscaped and appointed lodge, coffee shop and retail stores provided a terrific buffet lunch and tourist experience. The food was well prepared, the garden with private seating was nice and the service team members all did an excellent job. A very nice experience. If you stop here, be sure...

Location: near Arusha airport. Next to Shanga (good for shopping). Safe place. Rooms: 5 star facilities. Food: the dining room is excellent. Also a coffee shop and a more casual restaurant on site (with good pizza). Good coffee. Service: excellent. Left something behind ad they emailed back right away and easy to come pick up. Bottom line expensive and the...

Stayed here one night before the start of our safari. The lodges were lovely, the staff friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. For mains I had a 250g fillet of beef. It wasn't the best steak I've ever had, but it was so lovely and for £15 an absolute steal. I had food envy at my wife's belly...

Landed very late or very early in the morning depending on how you look at it - 3:30am. Drive from Kilimanjaro Airport to the lodge is approximately 45 mins. We were greeted by friendly staff and the accomodation at the plantation suite was fantastic. We had Dennis as our man Friday and he was brilliant- thoughtful, energetic and full of...
