Nice big rooms and well cleaned.
Nice beach, not crowded.
Mostly friendly and helpful staff.
Lovely hotel area with lots of wildlife.
Tasteless food in the hotel restaurant and relatively expensive, better of at some of the beach restaurants closeby.

Rooms and location are ok!
However the breakfast is really poor. Seems that they only choose the cheapest ingredients to cook! Regarding the price of the room it is not acceptable...

This nearly rated 5 star from me as it is a lovely place, excellent location on the beach, good big room, good facilities, great breakfast and nice grounds. We really enjoyed our stay. There were some niggles that made it miss the top 5 stars,...More
Went in late Dec. 2016 - early Jan. Hotel: 1 hr. from airport via van. Rooms are air conditioned. If you get a bungalow near the garden pond (stagnant water always breeds misquitoes) --- be SURE to bring a misquito net. We fought bugs and...More

Am considering staying at the Andamania resort next January , I would be grateful for information about swimming from the beach . Is there a gradual slope into the water ? Also is the sea likely to be calm around that time ?
Thank you for any advice

i've been in Andamania last November and the beach was very calm and warm.
I have rent a motorbike in the hotel and i have seen some places around where the sea was the same, blue, calm and warm.
