I chose this resort as it was walking distance to the National Park. But I only chose to stay one night because it was a 30 minute walk the other way to the centre where restaurants and supermarkets are located and I didn't want to trudge there and back carrying several kg of fruit and 3 litres of water every...

We stayed during the month of February. This was quite a nice hotel to stay in, as other reviews have mentioned there is quite a number of stairs to get down to the beach (just over 100). Once down the bottom you are at a very nice beach which wasn't overly crowded. We mostly ate at the Andalea Bar as...

Came here after a week of scuba diving on a liveaboard boat and appreciated the peace and quiet and comfortable bungalow. Checkin was typical Thai efficiency and gracefullness, and they made my ongoing arrangements the same way. I agree with other posts about the stairs: there are alot of them! And, I was tired from all my diving so didn't...

This hotel is at the beginning of the beach so a great spot quite private, however, there are 4 flights of steps to the walkway that lead to the tree house style rooms and another flight of steps to the room itself and a series of steps over 200 metres leading down to the beach. There a dozen private sun...

We stayed here for three night's and the rooms were really comfy. Beds were good and rooms were clean. Location very next to beach and from the beach it's easy to walk to town. Bungalows are hidden in the jungle and facing to the sea.It was really calm and quiet place. Breakfast was good and staff really nice and helpful....

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. 5-7 Jan 2017. We were hoping to enjoy the lovely pool as seen in the photos. But the pool looked a little cloudy (it wasn't very clear) and smelt heavily of chlorine. Kids dipped in only once and couldn't take the smell and got out. We were really disappointed, because it was...

Well, what's been said about Baan Krating has been said,so I can only agree especially about the amount of stairs.Definitely unsuitable for wheel chair or disabilities..A fair degree of fitness is required. The highlight of our 3 night stay here was staying in one of the pavilion rooms overlooking the Andaman Sea...Wow..!!...That incredible view..!!...It would have been nice to see beautiful landscaping...

The bungalows are situated on the hill overviewing the bay of Khao Lak. The views are really nice, it is a great place to chill on the balcony all day. Rooms are big and cleasn, good room service, breakfast is very average. It is recommended to have your own vehicle (motorbike or car), otherwise you have to pay a ridiculously...
