This guesthouse was truly beautiful. Everything was kept clean. Nong and her staff made us a fresh breakfast every morning and were there to answer any questions we had or offer advice as to things to do and see. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

We stayed here for 4 nights in December. This is not a place to party; rather, it just feels like you're staying in a distant relative's home. We paid for our room (cash only!) and were taken to a lovely corner room on the first floor. It was a bright room with a lot of windows, a large bed, and... More

The large, clean room was a great value and Khun Poo was a great source for off the beaten path places to visit. My young children loved the hotel cat that was there and the made to order breakfast was a great way to start each day.

We stayed as a family for 4 nights. We had a very large room with a private bath on the main floor of the house. Ms. Poo was very helpful in every way. My aunt & I went trekking for 2 days while my 72 yr old mom stayed behind at the hotel. Since the hotel staff didn't speak English... More

I stayed in this property in April 16 with my family. Calm and peaceful place. Still very near from town. Breakfast was good. Room was clean. It's a big banglow converted into hostel /hotel. Host was very cooperative and helpfull. Staff was very polite and helpfull. There are cycles available for ride(unfortunately because of time constraints we didn't used it).

We stayed for 3 nights. We had a twin room in the main house whichis a beautiful old building just a 10 min walk from the main areas of interest. We paid 550 baht but had to bargain for this as we were originally quoted 850 baht for a different room. I didn't think it was worth this for a... More

We stayed in a fan room on the ground floor of this colonial house and had a shared bathroom. House decor is looking very tired and needs updating. The bathroom only appeared to be cleaned once during our 3 night stay and we weren't provided with a change of towels at all. Dressing gown is a nice touch and required... More

There are rooms in the main house and also a row of stables like rooms at the end of the garden which is where we stayed. Very peaceful, clean, lovely owner and only a short walk to the high street or the bistro at the condotel to eat/shop.

Chiang Rai was intended to be a quick stop on the way to the golden triangle and back for a night on our return to Bangkok. Instead, we wished we'd scheduled more time in this town of beautiful temples and excellent markets. Our fortuitous decision to stay at the Baan Rub Aroon guesthouse enhanced our Chiang Rai experience by locating... More
