Ich war auf der Durchreise für eine Nacht im Emperor und hatte ein Standardzimmer für ca. 10 € im ersten Stock. Was will man für den Preis erwarten? Nun ja, ich bekam ein sauberes Bett, eine warme Dusche und sogar Wifi im Zimmer, aber ansonsten ist das Hotel doch eher grenzwertig. Es ist sehr heruntergekommen und in einigen Bereichen (unter dem Bett, im Treppenhaus) wurde seit längerer Zeit nicht mehr saubergemacht. Die Lage ist ok, vom Bahnhof geht man vielleicht 15 Minuten und zu Lee Gardens Plaza sind es ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuss. Falls ich noch mal nach Hat Yai kommen sollte, werde ich lieber für ein besseres Hotel mehr bezahlen, als billige Backpackeralternative mag es ok sein.
