I would't say excellent but it was a good experience because of it's prime location and cleanliness, although oldish. Staff don't speak much English, although they try to help, don't expect accurate replies for your questions.
Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is a bit old but clean. Situated about 10 minutes walk from the central shopping and eating area. It's also within walking distance from the train station.
Overall is a good stay and room price is reasonable.
Kosit Hotel was an old hotel in Hat Yai Town, old furniture and old design, but clean and tidy, nothing to complaint, my personal opinion, not suitable for those who don't appreciate old and classic stuff.
A rather aged hotel but with wonderful front desk staff who tried to be very helpful despite their language difficulties. Room was acceptably clean though with little extra amenities expected of hotels.
Best this to say, it is very conveniently located, right in town, within walking distance of shopping and eating places, tour agencies, massage places, etc. Can even walk to the train station if you are not carrying heavy luggage.
The hotel itself is nothing great....More

"Ask for a room away from the lift lobby. People tend to gather there at odd hours of the night to talk loudly."
