Detailed Reviews
Looking for a budget double room for a couple of nights that isn't totally ramshackle, my girlfriend and I ended up here. It's quite expensive for Thai standards, but then so is most accommodation in Hat Yai.
Our double bedroom was on the top floor, accessed via a steep staircase - ask staff to help you if you have heavy luggage. The rooms are very small (think Hong Kong) but lovely, spotlessly clean, feature A/C and a small table. This was by far the hardest bed we ever slept on, but since we like hard beds it was no issue for us.
The communal bathroom and toilet are equally small, but look very neat - a bit like in a multiple star hotel from my imagination anyway. Breakfast is included (Asian fare) and was good, only a small portion though.
There's a lounge on the second floor with water refill, hot water, some books and TV that guests can use. Some websites list this place as hostel but it's really rather a fancyish guesthouse - the only other guests were a Chinese family, and from about 10 pm, there is a staff member sleeping on a fold-out bed in the reception area.
All in all a good place to stay for couples, but not ideal for solo travellers as the atmosphere can be lacking.

This hostel was a nice find... friendly and quick check-in, small room with a bunk bed but very clean and with a view, as I was on the top floor (there's no elevator but I surely can use the exercise), bathroom is shared but also very clean, with toiletries provided...fast wifi...good location within easy walking distance from the railway station

When we arrived we were shocked to realise the twin room we booked was actually a small room with bunk beds and a shared bathroom. This was a new experience for us but we went with it. They lady said we could look at the room and if it was no good then it is not a problem which was very good of her. She also offered us a different room as the one we booked can get noisy with the traffic. The room was great although the beds were very hard. The bathrooms were very clean and there were drying racks on the shared balconies for your washing. We also rented a bike to explore the area. The owner also gave us all the information we needed for our onward travel. Breakfast was nice too. Would definitely recommend

The tuktuk lady brought us here. Absolutely Amazing. I feel bad for not trusting her in the first place. The room is small with bunkbeds but very clean. A shared bathroom and toilet and very Nice staff. They also arrange trips for reasonable price. Stay is 450 without breakfast/500 with.
Accross the street is an amazing restarant/streetfood place 60 baht for noodles with pork. Thanks again to the tuktuk lady :)
