My family stayed here for four nights..

1. Spacious Room
2. We were booked in a room that has a bath tub for the price of the standard one
3. Room comes with safety deposit box, user friendly, a 15 inch laptop will fit in carefully
4. Fast Internet access in room
5. Flat Screen TV with English and Thai Channels but not as clear as the TV on the lobby
6. Free coffee every morning in the lobby
7. No breakfast, but food as 5-10 minutes away
8. Strong shower and heater but pump keeps on stopping therefore you need to engage shower from faucet from time to time
9. Bed is large, my son keeps on jumping around
10. Clean pillows and sheets
11. comes with a small ref
12. Massage can be requested as well as taxi
13. They don't have printers for guest use, but they have several I see on the desk (but they referred me to the closest place, which is on 3rd floor of Lee Gardens Plaza)
14. Water sometimes not clear, you can see it marking on the tub sides
15. The cleaner was very helpful and cheerful, but missed some spots in our room when she cleaned it.
16. Doors can be opened by access cards that is also used to power up electricity in room, Smart tags on access cards that will cut off electricity after some seconds if removed from tray. You cannot replace it with other cards to keep A/C running.
17. Close to shopping and massage

I think they are same owner/management with BP Grand Tower Hotel

Stayed several times in this hotel.A good clean and safe hotel.Situated in a good location too, near to good restuarant. ete.etc.Hotel rooms are brightly lighted and aircond.in tip-top condition. It would be better if they can offer tea/coffe making facility,as family with babies/ children or senior citizens need hot water especially middle of night.

This hotel is great. It is new and clean and price is reasonable. The air cond is cold enough. There are restaurant nearby and walking distant to all the shopping area. The WIFI is a bit slow other than that nothing to complain.

Very horrible terrible experience, we chose this hotel because of the location and good reviews from relatives. Never thought that it would be such a big regret to stay here.

Here are my complaints:
1. When we booked the hotel, we informed the staff that we need transportation from airport in the email, though no feedback at all. So before we depart, we made a call to the hotel to double confirm, til then only the staff helped us to make arrangement. When we arrived at the airport, we kept looking for people holding our signage, or at least a sign of the hotel, but nobody show up; We, a group of family with old people and kids and infants, had been waiting and standing at the airport entrance for more than 30mins, we could not wait any longer so we decided to get a few taxi to fetch us to the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we explained to the staff but she told us that she already made arrangement for us so we have to pay even though we did not get in the van, from that moment I have a feeling that the hotel is very dodgy! We are a group of 10 people, the airport is not that big, if we, 10 pair of eyes could not find your only ONE driver, do not tell me your driver cannot see 10 people standing there waiting for transportation! How can you ask us to pay when your driver failed to fetch us to the hotel? Then are you going to pay me back my taxi fare which is much more expensive?? NONSENSE.
Anyway, my partner did not want to spoil the vacation so he negotiated with the staff and in the end pay half of the transportation fare to settle this.

2. The rooms are not as good as we seen on the websites, eg. the water heater did not function well, sometimes hot sometimes cold; the room card has only one which is not very convenient; the room got no water boiler, every time when my baby needs to drink milk I need to go down to get hot water.

3. When we checked out, the staff told us one of the glasses in our room has broken, so she asked us to compensate, again I repeat the hotel is very dodgy! From the moment when we checked in we already noticed the glass has a crack so we put it aside and did not use it as my baby might get injured, we did not even lodge a complaint about this, and now they accused us for breaking the glass! Apparently we are not the first victim on the same issue, I just saw there are other reviews saying that the staff also accuse them to compensate on the missing/broken items in the room. I would say it is either the cleaning staffs that broke the glass and did not want to admit, or the staff just want to con money from the guests.

Overall the stay was extremely unpleasant and we will never come back and never recommend to other people, in fact we will warn the rest to be extremely cautious when liaising with the hotel staffs.

I was very careful when it came to choosing hotels for our trip. Unfortunately, we were struck in the head with a hammer when we arrived. The bellboy was the best I would say. The receptionists, all women, were very RUDE (except for one older lady)

The hotel rooms are clean and exquisite, no doubt. But, on our last day, the water became mouldy and it was in the morning. NO CLEAN WATER TO BRUSH OUR TEETH so we had to use a bottle of mineral water.

When I went to flush the toilet, the toilet would not stop flushing (possessed toilet bowl). Even my parents in the other room could here it. We couldn't even take a shower -.-

Other than that was ok for me, but my parents were saying that the hotel was lousy that it didn't have coffee or tea provided in each room.

NOT ONLY THE HOTEL, BUT THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL. The hotel is located behind of.. I seriously don't know what its located behind, but to travel to the main centre of Hatyai, you will pass by a lot of 'massage parlours' louring people for 'massages'. NOT A SUITABLE PLACE FOR A FAMILY.

Went to Hatyai recently and chosen to stay here. For the price I'm paying, this is a good hotel. Clean room and environment. Walking distance to Lee Garden (around 10min).

The slight downside of it is that it's not on the main road. You need to go through a small road in between buildings to reach here

Color Hotel is a clean, comfortable friendly hotel in central Hat Yai.

I stumbled off a train from Malaysia at 8pm at night and wandered around Hat Yai looking for the best value in reasonably comfortable Hat Yai accommodations.

The guesthouses looked unappealing, and Hat Yai struck me as low-priced enough that I could rationalize spending enough for a hotel. The grand-looking Centara Hotel however at 1,500-baht was more than I wanted to pay for my relatively short stopover in Hat Yai. I was tempted by the strikingly bright clean lobby and friendly front-desk staff at Tune Hotel. But I decided to walk a block farther and managed to find the Color Hotel on a quiet, backstreet. Color Hotel definitely seemed like the “sweet spot” in Hat Yai hotel values. The staff was welcoming. The room was simple and spacious and quiet. The wi-fi was fast. The bed was firm and comfortable. I enjoyed my view of the “river” (OK it was really a concrete canal)

The one small downside I endured -- the hotel does not offer breakfast, and Swan Restaurant, which the Color Hotel staff so emphatically recommended for breakfast, was not open until noon that morning. I staggered through the streets craving coffee and western food, and sadly I ended up at Starbucks. (Later I realized for around the same cost of the 250-baht I paid for coffee and muffin I could have gone to the breakfast buffet at Centara).

The Color Hotel staff was helpful arranging my mini-van on to Krabi, at what seemed like a reasonably competitive price (only slightly more than the nearby travel agency on the street, and I enjoyed a much more convenient pickup time with the hotel booking). And the hotel was quick to provide me the convenience of a 13:00 late checkout.

Hotel was new and room was very spacious for 2 of us. Location was great too as it was near to Lee garden shopping area (walking distance about 10-15min). Would definitely stay this Hotel again in my next visit to Hatyai and hope the staff can maintain the great standards at this hotel.

Room - Great , no complaints. Equip with new Flat screen TV with cable TV prog.
Toilet - New & clean
Bed - Comfort
Parking facilities - Yes, with security guard provided
Location - Great, behind BP grand hotel. Walking distance to Lee Garden
Wi-Fi - Free access in the room.

Tips: Can purchase Hotel voucher at the tour agent if you want to get a better deal.

Hotel itself is off main road- just behind BP Suite. The hotel is 5 storey high , new and accessible by lift. Room is of reasonable price around Thb1100-00 but you can get better hotels at similar rate. The room is well partitioned with plywood board so you can expect some noise from next door. Staff was friendly. There are tuk-tuks available in front of hotel. About 200 meters away on the main road, there are massage shops, food shops and about 400 meters away would be the iconic Lee Garden Hotel/McD
