Used to stay in this low end mid price hotel in Hatyai North sometime ago when they just first open and today I am back. The hotel is nicely kept - things are still nice and new.

Their pricing starts from 780b per night without breakfast, slightly higher than the budget hotels in town (usually 500-700b) but this Leevana I would position it slightly higher than the budget hotels.

The room is equipped with the basic plus things like hairdryer and minibar which many budget hotels dont. They also provide cotton buds and dental kit.

The hotel is surrounded by food and there is a 7-Eleven beside the hotel for convenience.

I would say although slightly out from downtown, this is a nice hotel for business or casual travellers.

We arrived at the hotel in the morning and they let us check in early and that's great since we've been travelling overnight. We took room with 1 double bed & 1 single bed and the room was clean. the space just nice to fit in. but the room is not really soundproof since we can here sound from outside. Got 7E beside the hotel and also got Tuktuk waiting at the hotel to bring you anywhere. The hotel also provide airport transfer and that's good!

FOR
- Travellers looking for a hipster cum boutique hotel with above average rooms and clean accommodation.
- Aesthetically pleasing decor with nice details.
- Pleasant service staff (as can be expected of Thai hospitality).
- The hotel has an in house hipster cafe which serves pretty good breakfast but decent coffee at best. Good place to chillax if you are not planning to go anywhere.
- Plenty of parking space (for those who drive) and a guard on standby.
- The ubiquitous 7-11 is located a few metres away from the hotel's premise. It absolutely essential for snacks, food, alcohol etc. in the wee hours of the morning or anytime for that matter.
- There is also a massage parlour and another hipster cafe next to the hotel (which I didn't manage to visit). Across the main road, there are a few pubs and restaurants that you walk to if you do not feel like driving/ taking a taxi.

NOT FOR
- Light sleepers. Thin walls and doors that are hard to close will result in a lot of noise pollution especially in the mornings.
- Those without cars. The city centre is a 10 minute drive from the hotel and I reckon the taxi bill will amount to quite a fair bit. It would be more economical to rent a car.
- Disabled travellers. There are no ramps and there are two flight of stairs to reach the lobby. Those with heavy luggages will also struggle & get some exercise at the same time.

NITPICKS/ OTHER CONCERNS
- Shower area lighting is sufficient but dim and could be improved with another light point.
- The block that is not facing the road has chickens crowing in the morning according to a friend who stayed there on this very same trip.

Several visits here. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Bed is comfy with fresh smell linen. Even it’s not in downtown, but overall is worth staying. Highly recommended!!

Tips - choose room near car parking lot to avoid noise from a pub on mainroad

Stayed at Leevana from the 26-28 of June, it was a great experience. The hotel is very clean and modern, the staff were very friendly and there is a large 7-11 Convenience store open 24/7 just next door as well as the hotels very own trendy cafe. The room was great and had a LCD TV and Free Wi-FI. The location is not in Downtown but that wasn't a problem for me as I hired a motorcycle rental. But for those less keen on renting a vehicle, there are Tuk Tuks you can hire in front of the hotel. Overall it was a great stay and you'll definitely be seeing me again!

THE WORST HOTEL IN HATYAI as I travelled so many times with this hotel. Unfortunately, this time they accuse me with paying 305 baht because of slight dirty linen during check out. Isn't hotel responsibility with laundry dept despite putting guest faults. This is my first time ever had such bad experience with ridiculous hotel. I WON'T COME BACK EVER AGAIN WITH THIS HOTEL!

Location is ok for the price. 15 mins from the city center.
However not suitable for family with kids. Solo traveler might find the place well.
The staff attitude was terrible towards kids.
Felt unwelcome by the staff there.
Totally NO if planning with childrens.

Clean n nice hotel, 7 eleven is just next to the hotel. However, there is no twin bed available in this hotel and for those who will be awakened by the slightest noise, do not choose room that ends with 1, I had room 501 and I heard cars n bikes all night long.

The breakfast was a big disappointment, as it described the breakfast as a buffet but it was a miserly portioned and poor quality breakfast. They could not produce a freshly fried egg, it was as if someone had pre-package round shaped egg in a machine of some sort, so each time I asked for a soft fry they still came back with a hard sold yolk egg which was hardly hot or showed any signs of frying. Then they did not do English breakfast tea. Then they only served tea in polystyrene mugs and no fresh milk. They couldn't be bothered to collect or buy some from their local near-by shops, I would expect that if they claim to be a 4 star hotel. Then there was a not so clean shower cubicle.
