Fairly expensive (1900 bath on offer). Great view in the rooms with odd numbers (ask for it!). The have smoking rooms so if you get one and don't want, make sure to ask to change. Excellent service! Breakfast included, but you must like Thai warm...More
The hotel has a quite dated architecture, gives off a classic design. My problem is the lack of bidet in the toilet. It is located near Huahin beach, around 500 meters from thr beach. The breakfast was standard hotel breakfast.
The City Beach Resort is convenient. Its location is great as it is "down town" Hua Hin centre, close to the markets and shops, surrounded by restaurants and a short walk to the beach. It is reasonably priced and this is of course because it...More
From the moment I was greeted by the porter at the entrance until the day I checked out I didn't see one member of staff smile. I couldn't believe the hostile attitude from the staff, especially at reception. I've never felt so unwelcome at reception,...More

Re City Beach hotel, Hua Hin
Certainly the hotel would be OK for wheelchair use. There are ramps outside, plenty of space inside, lifts to all floors and wide, easily accessible corridors to rooms. Access to the large dining room area is easy as well. I took my sister to the hotel, she uses a wheelchair and we had no problems.
Re the interconnecting rooms I just cannot remember for certain. I think there is from the more expensive rooms but cannot recall the smaller rooms. My partner thinks there is.
If you pay by credit card the hotel charges you 7% on the bill. Normal in Thailand is 3%. Worth remembering.
