This is a good, clean, basic accommodations type guesthouse. Managers speak English. Good showers and King sized beds. Easy walk to town and shops. Has a great restaurant. Air conditioning worked well.

Nice setting by the river. New experience in thai food, i cannot compare it to what i ate in bangkok before. Great taste and flavours and it is all organic food. Will be coming back if the oppurtunity presents itself.

The retreat is in a good location, just a short walk to the main tourist area in Kanchanaburi. The room was simple yet had everything you would need for a good night's sleep - working aircon and fan, comfortable beds and soft pillows, and most importantly very clean, no insects inside. I have stayed in the area before and payed...

Apple's Retreat don't appear to use any booking agencies and I found out about it through an article I found on the internet when researching our holiday to Thailand which may explain why we appeared to be the only people staying there in early January. It is located within walking distance of bars and restaurants and it's own restaurant has...

We stayed here as part of an Intrepid tour in January 2016. This is a guesthouse rather than a hotel, so the rooms are basic and would mainly suit the budget traveller. It’s also a little distance from the centre of town but transport is cheap if you don’t feel like walking. The guest wi-fi wasn’t very good. The great...

Stayed here as part of an Intrepid tour. The beds were hard, as they are throughout Thailand. The air conditioning was good and the wifi in my room was excellent. The rooms were semi-clean (acceptably so for SE Asia). I could hear my neighbours talking through the wall but it wasn't too bad.

We went there with a group last night. Apple gave great explanations of the food she recommended. Meal was lovely , very tasty. I even tried a blue flower she said was edible. Thank you Apple and staff

Part of Intrepid tour for three night stay in Kanchanaburi. The best feature was the A/C worked very well. The bathroom was covered but outside the room (very hot). The internet worked well in my room but other people on tour had to go outside to get Wi-Fi to work. The cleaning staff seemed to take all day to get...

My first time here. The service and hospitality of Apple, Noi and their team was great. Very attentive. The room is reasonable priced. The experience they plan for visitors is excellent with health food, lovely garden good for retreat, Thai Cuisine cooking class/activity.

A clean, cute place. Very quiet and very good view. The resturant was very nice, good food - breakfast included with a good options. The beds were the only downfall, they are very hard and on a raised platform so offer little support. It was a rough nights sleep for me. Other than this I found the hosts and staff...
