We stayed here for a week with our 9 month baby. The hotel was very flexible- providing a highchair, baby portions of food, a cot etc. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and quiet and the food is delicious and reasonably priced- try the tuna chapati- so good! Curries are about 4/5 gbp and a beer is about a pound....

We had such a good time on our first stay here in October that we wondered if a return could ever live up to our expectations. Shouldn't have worried. From the moment the car door opened, we were greeted with familiar smiles, old friends took luggage away and we had the keys to our bungalow in hand. Evelien and Khun...

Before arriving at this resort we had been to Hong Kong and Bangkok so wanted somewhere we could relax with our 11 year old Son, and this place was absolutely perfect. The staff are genuinely friendly and could not do enough for us, the chalets are gorgeous and the whole resort is beautifully cared for. We took a long boat...

We just returned from our 3 rd visit to this lovely resort. This time we enjoyed an 8 night stay. Aside from the usual wonderful service, clean comfortable bungalows, lovely gardens, terrific restaurant and great pool, now there is a newly opened massage and gym! The gracious owners Evelien and Djo, work hard to keep the resort 'tip-top' , and...

So tranquil and relaxing, ideal weekend getaway from hectic pace of Bangkok. After reading all the 5 star reviews on the site, we had high expectations but the staff & resort exceeded them. The handful of lovely cottages are set is a lush, riverside location overflowing with flowers, plants and trees and wildlife (birds, frog/toads, butterflies). Our family cottage was...

A wonderful tranquil haven if 12 lively Thai bungalows set in beautiful gardens beside the River Kwai. Everything is lovingly cared for from the gardens and accommodation to the guests and nothing is too much trouble. I am celiac and have to eat a gluten free diet. The chef prepared delicious food every evening for me and the salads we...

This resort is run so well, from the service you get before you even arrive ie transfers arranged, prompt replies to emails. Then you get there and besides the fact that the resort is so well kept and beautiful location the welcome is so relaxed you forget your worries immediately over a welcome cool thai drink and then shown to...

We rolled up after many hot hours on the road and before we could get off our bikes the staff was standing next to us with ice-cold drinks and cold towels. Do we need to check in? Nope. Here's your key, we will see you at dinner. These days when I go to Thailand I go out of my way...

This is a MUST stay when visiting Thailand. Not too far from Bangkok by car and the resort will send one to collect you if you need it. Takes about 3 hours from Bangkok to the resort. Evelien and Djo are the most gracious hosts and can arrange all trips to the local sightseeing places. And now, they have just...

We spent a couple of nights here on our way to Bangkok. We had our own wheels which made it easier to explore the area as the resort is a 15 minute drive out from Kanchanaburi. Apparently you can get a long-tail boat to ferry you up and down the Khwae Yai from the resort to Kanchanaburi. The grounds are...
