Chanchalay looks like a swedish guys wet dream of Santorini. The same guy must have liked moody greeks too busy gazing at their digitals to bother looking up and welcoming just about anyone. The greek dream must also have involved many cute little pet-ants in the room, no fridge or complimentaries and the joy of getting a wif of your...

A surprisingly nice guesthouse , upon arrival the reception desk is small , that's why they say don't judge the book by its cover :) . Checkin was easy breezy , then we were showed to our room which was behind and we felt transformed to another place . They have a cozy small garden with an old well covered...

We ended up spending almost a week at this guesthouse. We came back to Krabi after we found Railay Beach to be overcrowded and got sick there. The Chan Cha Lay was such a haven to return to. We mainly had two rooms with shared bathroom for 800B with fan only. The shared bathroom was really lovely - modern, clean,...

Located within walking distance from the pier, the night market and the town centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautifully decorated and impeccable hygiene. Quiet and pleasant. We loved the open-air bathroom :-D Laundry service, scooter rent, massage, bars, restaurants and tourist information - all within 100 m around.

We've been coming to Thailand for several years now and every year we spend some of our holidays in this wonderful place. In fact, knowing that this beautiful little oasis exists right in the heart of Krabi town is one of our reasons to return to Thailand so often... The guesthouse is very lovingly decorated, spotlessly clean, and all members...

This place is lovely! I love the design, the rooms are spotless, super clean, the receptionists are very nice and the breakfast is nice as well. I have stayed in a lot of hotels around Thailand during our 1 month holiday but so far Chan Cha Lay was my absolute favourite!!!

We spent 2 weeks around Thailand and this was the best hotel we came across, we paid £20 for a private room and bathroom for one night which is expensive for Thailand but a bargain in comparison to England and we loved it. It had a really nice european feel to it which was gave me a nice homely feeling...

We stayed at Chanchalay for 4 nights at the beginning of January. We have a private A/C room with an attached bathroom. The room was fresh, clean and spacious enough for all our belongings. The rooms are well priced for what you get and it had awesome outdoor shower with great pressure and hot water on demand. It's not a...

Having read a few of the most recent reviews of Chan Cha Lay I cannot understand why people are complaining. My boyfriend and I have travelled around Asia 3 times and this is by far the best place we have come across. We paid 550 for A/C with shared bathroom on our first stay. The room was so cute and...
