Almost didnt book because of the "rats" review below. But we had no rats, and found the place to be very clean. Got an inexpensive airport transfer too. Our room was big with good a/c and the fastest wifi we had in Thailand. The hotel was rather loud, but well placed and a good value for one night's stay.

Being busy in Krabi area in June I stayed 3 times with them (couple of days or only for a night). The Hotel looks appealing from the outside, the reception hall looks friendly and my rooms are simply worth the money. I didn't have to book and just walked in getting the best fares for the room. The room itself...

Please avoid this hotel at all costs, it's 3am as I write this and Im staying at the orange treehouse this evening, I heard a rustling noise at 1am and assumed it must of been coming from outside but time goes on and so does the rustling noise! Half an hour later I sit up in bed and turn the...

The lobby of the hotel was non-aircon and it was so warm! There's no lift and we had to carry our luggages up. So probably not recommended for older travelers. Great location, with 3 night markets around the hotel. Clean, spacious rooms with friendly staffs. At S$30 a night, I'm really satisfied!!

The Hotel is Decent, value for money for the budget mongers. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. They are really cheerful and ready to help. They speak good English as well. If you are in Krabi, book this place, you won't regret.

We stayed at The Orange Tree House when it first opened a couple of years ago and we thought it was excellent. This year we revisited and although the service is still good, I'm sorry to say that the rooms have become somewhat shabby, with holey bed linen and towels and the bathrooms in need of a deep clean and...

Our stay covered 4 nights from 9th-13th January 2014. We wanted somewhere to stay in Krabi on our way to Koh Lanta. After looking at reviews we decided that the Orange Tree was both recommended and in our budget....value for money. The hotel was very clean, we had a good size room with fridge, tv and good facilities and the...

Unfortunately Orange Tree House works with a very shady company that transports people from Krabi Town to Koh Lanta. In short, we payed 400 baht so we could get on the "people ferry" and have a shorter journey, but the company still took us by bus to Koh Lanta and car ferry (which was offered by Tree House at 300...

So the guy on reception who was laughing about this for some weird reason said that he would find us a...

“Krabi is almost boring, unless you take a bike and head down to Ao Nang for fun, or their national parks etc., Avoid Krabi if you are in peak summer since you wan't have much to do around. Chose Ao Nang instead.”

“Had room 6 was very pleased. Was mid week, so not a market day. Imagine it could get quite hectic and noisy outside on a Fri, Sat or Sunday night with the room facing the market right outside but from my experience another time they pack up quite early. Otherwise chose a room on the opposite side.”
