please please excuse me, i lived in Cha-am for many years some years ago, i had my 'best friend' name of 'Dum' i think his wifes family owned this hotel, they also owned what was called 'the ocean club' and a sea food restaurant on the beach.
Dum had a snooker club above his sisters guess house further down the beach.
because of illness i had to move back to England, i missed my friend a lot and thought of him as a younger brother,
can i ask you please do you know of him or his family?
i understand many years ago his father was Cha-am mayor, his family owned many properties in Cham-am, i can't tell you his surname i'm afraid.
my name is Tony i am English, last time i saw Dum he also was sick and had spent long time in hospital
please if you know of him tell me he is ok,
thank you for your time,

"If you struggle with stairs, chose a lower floor room. Eat in the restaurant downstairs."
