We arrived late and left early. Thank goodness. This hotel is drab and lacks all character. For one night, it did the job as we arrived too late to take a ferry out to Ko Samet. But I would never stay longer. It is like a multi-story hotel in any country, with interior hallways and cookie cutter rooms with balconies...

We stayed for one night on our way to Koh Samet. Stayed in a newly decorated room. Excellent price, room was spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Good, quiet air conditioning. Free water fridge in room. Staff were excellent, recommended a great local restaurant nearby and where to find the night market. Great location, across the road from the bus station and...

Merely walked in because I needed directions, hoping they'd speak English since they're a hotel. The lady who I think is the owner (she appeared soon after I approached the check-in counter) was extremely nice and helpful, offering me directions in very good English. Very good impression; I'd stay there if I wasn't just passing by!

I have never been to such a poor hotel , staff speak very little English,i told them TV not working they gave me a code and say this will make TV work. It was internet password e.g...which was useless as the internet also did not work , it was dirty , had mould growing in refrigerator door and in bathroom...

A value for money hotel. Nothing fancy, very clean. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anybody. Double room without breakfast only 500Baht.Well situated for the transportation centre( minivans and songtaews only). Please note that the bus station is 10 km outside of town.

Rayong is not your final destination, nor is this Hotel. It was desent, tops. For 700 baht (low-season, walk-in) we got a nice and spacious double room with AC and a fridge, hot shower and TV. The building and rooms could use some renovating but you definitely can spend a night here. Breakfast was OK, some fruit, instant coffee and...

I stayed here for 5 days, and liked the maintenance staff. Rooms are clean, well maintained. Location is very close to Sukhumvit Road on the opposite side of Rayong Bus Terminal. Rooms cost 500B/month, if you do not take the breakfast package.

I have stayed at this hotel twice - the first time for 3 nights and the second time for two. The hotel is quite large with two wings - one for 400 Baht rooms (which they advertise quite clearly outside) and the other for 650 Baht rooms which have nicer doors, furniture and televisions than the cheaper rooms. I have...

Rayong President is a very good value for the price paid-- just beyond the backpacker rates and at the low end of hotel rates. Rooms can average ~600B (breakfast incl is optional), which is OK, esp considering one has free choice from the menu, rather than a 'set'. The lobby is minimalist, though attractive; the rooms are clean, without any...
