Nestled near Kaleici and the harbour, Dogan Hotel's prime location is a highlight for numerous guests. The hotel boasts a unique decor and offers a serene atmosphere, with a lively bar scene anticipated during summer months.

The hotel is simply cool, there are no words - only positive emotions. 1. The location of the hotel in the old town of Kaleici couldn’t be better - everything is within walking distance, including Mermerli beach, which is 5 minutes away. 2. We only took breakfast and it was wonderful, everything was tasty and varied. 3. We had room 117, the windows of which faced the street, we fell asleep to “live” music and it was great. The room is cozy, the mattress and pillows are really great. Room cleaning is excellent, everything is in working order (air conditioning, safe, shower, refrigerator, TV, wi-fi). 4. The main feature of this hotel is the staff. We all felt at home for 15 days. 5. The pool is also excellent, the photo on the hotel website corresponds to reality. We were only once, after a boat trip we decided not to go to the sea, the water was all we needed, the sunbeds and umbrellas were large and comfortable, towels were provided at the reception, no complaints. 6.This was our best vacation. We were in Alanya, Kemer, Belek, Side, Fethiye, Marmaris, we really liked Bodrum, but we liked Kaleici and Dogan Hotel more. The hotel's rating is clearly underestimated, we walked a lot around the Old Town, visited friends in other hotels, there is something to compare with. Thank you Dogan Hotel for the joy of every minute of your vacation, for the comfort and responsiveness on all issues, for the fairy tale that you gave us!

Lovely hotel in Old Town Antalya close to decent bars and restaurants, handy to well stocked supermarkets. Warm welcome on arrival from the staff who spoke decent level of English. The room was comfortable and bed comfy, good air conditioning and exceptional bathroom. we were delighted the hotel met our request for a balcony as this made all the difference. Old Town is charming but not quiet due to adjacent bars etc, but this did not impact greatly on us.
We were treated very well by most staff - housekeeping, reception and especially breakfast staff went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. we found that if we used a few words of Turkish this was much appreciated. of exceptional note for us were the lovely Jilali who was extremely helpful and knowledgable the restaurant area and the reception staff who could not do enough. i do not wish to leave a negative review but we found that only SOME of the senior management took the time to speak to guests and chat to them - this is very important to guests and after a while it became noticeable that more effort should be made. One of the senior staff in the reception area I think was lovely with kids and those travelling alone. She set a good tone for the others, a good example. I would certainly recommend if travelling alone and there is a good taxi service nearby also.
Excellent standard of food for breakfast, something different every day! We were certainly well looked after and overall decent levels of English speaking, but weary traveller take note: loud music and traffic, revelling can go on long into the early hours, bring earplugs if you want a good early night. This is Turkey. They know how to party.

My family of 4 stayed during the period APRIL 2024. This was initially organized by a lovely lady, Cigdem Kaban, who was wonderfully helpful - she asked us every day how we were and was very efficient and welcoming, this was the basis for us choosing the Dogan hotel. We are very well traveled and have stayed in many hotels around the world, but none have even come close to the wonderful welcome, attention, cleanliness and presentation of the rooms and the delicious food in the restaurant. We will definitely be inquiring for a return visit in summer 2024

We booked 3 nights and the first night we stayed in room 126 and it was horrendous. The room was so small and dingy. The ceiling fan was wobbly and looked like it was about to fall off. The bedside lamp light flickered, and only stayed on if you held the cable in a certain place. There was a large chair in the room which blocks getting to the left side of the bed and you also can't sit at the desk area to use the mirror, because the chair completely blocks it. I don't know why they put this size chair in the room, it makes no sense at all. The one window sat below the pool level, right next to the path around the pool so we constantly had people walking right by the window. There was a constant noise of running water from the pool. The room was above the hotel washing machines, which they kindly ran all night long so we could hear them all night. We were also right near the dining area so from about 6am onwards there was constant noise from the staff getting breakfast ready. They talked so loud right outside our bedroom door, moving plates around etc. I understand they need to get breakfast ready but they were really loud about it. I had no sleep at all due to all the noise throughout the night and early morning. The bathroom was not clean, especially the shower, it was disgusting. The next morning we spoke to reception and they were really helpful and moved us to another room which was much better. It was a lot quieter, nice room on the 2nd floor but again the bathroom was not clean. I have more photos but I can only upload 4 here. The cleaners decided to drag furniture around in the next room at about 8am so the staff making noise was everywhere, didn't matter what room you stay in. We had the breakfast included but it wasn't great, not much choice really, and drinks like fresh juice etc aren't included, you have to pay for drinks with your breakfast which is unusual and wrong in my opinion. My main feedback to the hotel is clean your bathrooms and don't put guests in room 126. I don't think we'll be staying again.

My wife and I recently stayed at Dogan for 3 nights and on the first day, the drinking water was provided in our room. Next day, the maid left no water for us and I asked the hotel clerk for the drinking water. He replied that the first bottle of drinking water was provided free of charge but now we will need to buy our own during the remaining days of our stay there. My wife and I were very annoyed after having traveled to many countries over the years and been given drinking water free on a daily basis. Dogan is the only hotel out of hundreds of our bookings who has bluntly refused to give us the water for each day of our stay. Although our hotel room was very nice and well appointed, the breakfast buffet was also terribly expensive costing 400 lira or at present $12.40 USD per person. Also orange juice was an additional cost of 50 lira. My wife refused to attend the breakfast buffet so I went solo on the first morning. Unfortunately I found that most of the foods and scrambled eggs I selected were very bland and without any type of seasoning or spices, leaving them tasteless. Even salt & pepper did not revive any tastes.

Booked an 11 night stay after reading reviews etc and months before I was due to travel I requested a quiet room with a double bed, eventually the request was replied to and I was advised all would be so. Upon arrival I was greeted and given room 149 , this room is in the eaves and has severe headroom issues and a broken toilet which I didn’t raise issue with, before setting in I requested a room change due to be banging my head constantly, this was done without question. I was given room 132 which was much brighter and airier. Over the stay I did notice a bad drain smell intermittently and there was signs of mold/ dirt in the shower but overall the room was clean and cleaned daily and restocked with shower products and coffees, with fresh towels. The hotel breakfast I found to be very good and varied and service by Orcan and Cejin (not sure of this spelling sorry) was exceptional. Unfortunately during my stay the pool was being refurbished, shame it wasn’t mentioned prior to booking. The location makes this hotel, the staff make it acceptable .

We have visited Turkey several times, and this was our second visit to antalya. We love the historical features of this country and decided to visit both Aspendos and Perge once more. Both were wonderful, and we also visited Sise as well. We are not fans of massive "all inclusive " type hotels as the local economy doesn't benefit from our monies. we wanted a small hotel and Dogan was the only one we found from jet2. The hotel has a great location and the staff were other guests pointed out very helpful. Our room was poor. Located next to the pool and has almost no daylight. The shower cubicle was badly fitted hence the the floor floods when the shower is in use. TheTV was faulty, and the housekeeping was also poor. Our room wasn't serviced the first day, on the second day we didn't have any bath towels. On the third day, the room was only serviced around 5.45pm after I complained. This could be a great hotel, but as usual, it was small details which let's it down. Kaleici Old Town is a great place, and we visited many quality restaurants for meals and purchased many great value items.

This has to be one of the cleanest hotels I have ever visited, the rooms are absolutely spotless. With clean sheets and towels everyday the maids work extremely hard making the rooms clean and tidy each day. I was a little disappointed with our room though as it is literally half the size of the rooms on the Jet2 and Dogan Hotel websites. I had emailed a week or so before to request a quiet double room but both rooms were facing the front of the hotel overlooking bar street!!. We did move rooms from a twin to double only to have an even smaller room with the smallest shower and toilet in Antalya. That would have been fine for a long weekend but over a fortnight you need more space to dry wet clothes and towels. If I had had a room like the ones on the websites I would have definitely given a 5* review, I would have been quite happy to pay for an upgraded room.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly especially the Gents on reception and Ergan in the restaurant. The food was amazing. Breakfast was a wonderful spread of a little bit of everything so there would be be plenty for the fussiest of people. We ate in the restaurant on our last evening and the food was honestly the very best we had in Kaleci, our biggest regret was not eating there earlier in the trip too.
Be aware that the transfer buses can’t get into the Old Town as the streets are too narrow. Our transfer bus dropped us just outside the Old Town which would have been fine if it wasn’t 4 am and if we knew where we were going!!!

We have stayed in many hotels over the years but none have come close to the friendly atomosphere of the Dogan especially the Manager Gigdem who was wonderully helpful asking everyday were we ok, organising trips for us, helping with info about the trams, shops etc.
The breakfasts were amazing with a vast amount of choice and the rooms were fine and cool as we arrived in the middle of a heatwave. The pool was great and never had trouble finding a bed so we will definitely be going back

We have just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel, myself and my friend.
The hotel is in a perfect location, central in the old town and a short walk to the small cliff side beach and marina. The beach is beautiful and costs 150lira each for entry including sunbed/parasol.
It is one of the cleanest hotels Ive stayed in, and the housekeeping is great.
The pool area is stunning, but would benefit from some background music as it gets very quiet.
The food and cocktails are delicious with a good choice of different foods on the breakfast buffet, including traditional turkish breakfast along with pancakes and omelettes.
The staff are second to none, especially Ercan who went out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect.
The resident cats and their kittens where a welcome addition!
I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!!
