The staff at the hotel were exceptionally nice and considerably more accommodating than some of the supposed 5 star hotels that we stayed at in Turkey. We checked in late on a rainy cold night, so had a small (but adequate) room for the first night since the hotel was full and we were last to check in. We asked to change rooms the next morning, and were switched to a larger room with more light. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean and warm (wintertime during our trip) with good plumbing. Breakfast was wonderful with excellent variety and tasty hot dishes which changed daily. Hotel is well situated in old town near good restaurants and pubs. Despite great location, it is quiet at night. We checked out at 5:15 AM, so the hotel packed a breakfast for us to take to the airport. Very considerate. Highly recommend this hotel.…

Lovely hotel in Old Town Antalya close to decent bars and restaurants, handy to well stocked supermarkets. Warm welcome on arrival from the staff who spoke decent level of English. The room was comfortable and bed comfy, good air conditioning and exceptional bathroom. we were delighted the hotel met our request for a balcony as this made all the difference. Old Town is charming but not quiet due to adjacent bars etc, but this did not impact greatly on us. We were treated very well by most staff - housekeeping, reception and especially breakfast staff went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. we found that if we used a few words of Turkish this was much appreciated. of exceptional note for us were the lovely Jilali who was extremely helpful and knowledgable the restaurant area and the reception staff who could not do enough. i do not wish to leave a negative review but we found that only SOME of the senior management took the time to speak to guests and chat to them - this is very important to guests and after a while it became noticeable that more effort should be made. One of the senior staff in the reception area I think was lovely with kids and those travelling alone. She set a good tone for the others, a good example. I would certainly recommend if travelling alone and there is a good taxi service nearby also. Excellent standard of food for breakfast, something different every day! We were certainly well looked after and overall decent levels of English speaking, but weary traveller take note: loud music and traffic, revelling can go on long into the early hours, bring earplugs if you want a good early night. A charming hotel created from a group of antique Turkish houses in the old city around central courtyards, one for the swimming pool, and another for the bar and restaurant. The food served at the restaurant is exceptional, and the service is warm, friendly, and helpful.

Lovely hotel right in the center of old town. Walking distance to many sights, dining options, shops, etc,.. literally a 1 minute walk to private beach and marina for boat tours. Hotel staff professional and kind. Especially Cigdem. She was always around and asked if I needed anything, or was ok. Everything was immaculately clean, pool and terrace area gorgeous. Breakfast buffet was fresh, had lots of variety and most importantly, fantastic coffee. :D As a solo, female traveler, I loved everything and more importantly, always felt safe. Cigdem even contacted me a week after arriving back to home country to make sure I made it home safe. So very kind and thoughtful. I love cats and was completely taken by the friendly resident cat, köfta! Beautiful, hospitable country and even more beautiful in how they treat animals. Beautiful boutique hotel located close to Marina and close to main street in Kaleici where the bars are (5 minute walk). We were fortunate to have a back room which didn't attract much Saturday evening music noise. All hotel staff were professional. The place was immaculately clean and the garden and pool area inviting. Breakfast was outside with a nice array of food choice. Clientele seemed to be more mature and everyone seemed friendly. I will be back but I would like to see improved lighting in the rooms with brown ceilings. It was very hard to find things in your suitcases.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel, myself and my friend. The hotel is in a perfect location, central in the old town and a short walk to the small cliff side beach and marina. The beach is beautiful and costs 150lira each for entry including sunbed/parasol. It is one of the cleanest hotels Ive stayed in, and the housekeeping is great. The pool area is stunning, but would benefit from some background music as it gets very quiet. The food and cocktails are delicious with a good choice of different foods on the breakfast buffet, including traditional turkish breakfast along with pancakes and omelettes. The staff are second to none, especially Ercan who went out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect. The resident cats and their kittens where a welcome addition! We stayed for 10 days in August 23 and would definitely recommend the Dogan Hotel. it was only a 5 minute walk from the sea as well as the old town. Despite the proximity to the restaurants and bars, the Dogan Hotel was always a calm oasis. Breakfast was excellent and the pool was never crowded. Although we had a late flight home we were still allowed to use the hotel's facilities. a great place.

We booked this hotel as part of a Jet2 package holiday after looking at the excellent reviews online. We were not disappointed! The hotel is charming and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The bar and restaurant terrace area is a nice peaceful place to sit and have a meal or a drink and the pool area is just delightful with the lush planting and feels very private! It gets the sun all day and never feels crowded. There is a good selection of hot and cold food at breakfast. We had lunch by the pool and we also sampled many of the items on the hotel’s cocktail menu!!! I can recommend the frozen martini’s amongst others!!! Our bedroom had a lovely little balcony which overlooks the harbour in the distance. Kaleici itself is a beautiful place steeped in history and local culture and the locals are very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!…

Stayed at the Dogan Hotel in December 2022. All the staff were so friendly and helpful in many ways; they helped us with local information, advice, telephone calls, etc., etc. They were always there to help. We got to know some of them on first name terms and felt we'd made some friends. We'd especially like to thank Arjan, Cigdem (both manager and breakfast staff), Muhammed, and Mirac (and others who we should remember their names...). Breakfasts were great - something a bit different every day by the chef. We're going back again this year and hope to see everyone again; no greater compliment than that!
