My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Divan, it was such a unique experience to stay in a cave hotel. We purposely picked this hotel for it's location and terrace to get great views of the Goreme and I must say it was spectacular. They have a best breakfast, loads of vegetarian options which usually is a challenge for us but not here. Great staff especially Kenan who is so well spoken, listened to our needs patiently, and helped us book all of our tours. Rest of the staff is well trained as well, everyone was ready to help with smile on their face.
We had booked honeymoon suite, it was so specious, huge Jacuzzi, great shower, even provided dental kit which is rare to find. Overall, our stay was pleasant and relaxing.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The check in was very easy and the staff were helpful from the get go.
The room itself was really big with beautiful holes carved into the walls for lamps all around the room. So we could turn the main chandelier off and leave the lamps on and it created a very cool atmosphere. Bed was huge and nicely made up, and every time we let them clean the room they also remade the bed very beautifully with a red patterned cover over the top of the duvet.
Service was very good, the staff helped a lot with arranging travel, laundry, and tours for our time in Cappadocia. Very professional attitude from the staff who were clearly seeking to provide a good service. If not for the staff we wouldn't have known about the tours which ended up being the main events of our stay, time wise, and which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Breakfast was fantastic. They went above and beyond by providing no less than 14 plates of food, and then offering an omelette of our choosing. Constantly offering more drinks which they provided promptly. Also one day they offered to pack our breakfast for us so we could take it out of the hotel.
The views from the rooftop were also amazing and the location was great. Would recommend this hotel and the very courteous staff to anyone wanting to visit Cappadocia.
Special thanks to Kenan at reception for all of his assistance.

Beautiful hotel in the upper part of Goreme which gives it a privileged view of the whole town including many interesting fairy chimneys. The staff is very nice. Solange and Nur were both very helpful and super friendly. Solange recommended great spots for meals and Nur went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. The hotel’s breakfast is very good and very varied. There are lots of cool terraces and the main rooftop terrace will get you that beloved IG pic with the hot air balloons over the town. The beds are comfy, everything is super clean, and the showers are awesome. The only downside to Divan is that we picked a cave room which was not in the hotel itself but in another property adjacent to the hotel and up the road a bit. So I would suggest skipping the large, more expensive, windowless cave room and picking a room in the main building with windows which will be closer to the hotel amenities. Great experience nevertheless.

Our suite was cute and fully stocked with toiletries and water bottles, and it was cleaned daily. The room had a fridge, TV, and heating. The staff was friendly to help us with tours and recommendations in the city. The breakfast was delicious with Turkish cuisine including their scrambled eggs, tea, and coffee and different pastries each day. Since there was no wifi in the room, the staff was accommodating to let us use the dining room for wifi and kindly brought us Turkish tea and fruit. The location is also great and near shops and other hotels, but beware of the wild dogs in the area.

Divan Cave House
We visited in early October and had such a wonderful time here.
Location: 45 minutes away from the Airport and located in the heart of Goreme. This hotel is just walking distance away from the main part of the city which consists of all the best restaurants and souvenir shops.
Rooms: We chose the Honeymoon suite which comes equipped with a jacuzzi, but unfortunately on our 2nd night here when we wanted to use it at night, we weren’t getting any hot water through the tap which just completely dulled the experience of relaxing in a hot tub at the end of a long tiring day of sightseeing.
Apart from that, the cave room was well designed and spacious. The bathroom was big as well.
No security vault in our room which made it risky for us to keep our valuables back at the hotel.
The cleaning lady came every day to clean without fail and did a fairly good job and even folded our clothes.
Restaurant: They serve a lovely Turkish breakfast between 8.00 to 11.00 am with both an inside and outside seating. The views of the Hot Air Balloons from the outside seating are absolutely breath taking. The food at the breakfast is amazing and I loved every bit of it, right from their cheeses to their jams to their Boreks and breads. All these made for a very colourful presentation at the table.
Hospitality: The men working at the restaurant are all very obliging and sweet. It is unfortunate though that they are unable to communicate much with the guests because of the language barrier, however they tried their best to ensure we were comfortable and got whatever we asked for.
They have a terrace which is absolutely gorgeous and one of the main reasons why I chose this hotel. It has such pretty photographic settings that it made for the perfect Set for my pictures with the Hot Air Balloon in the oh so gorgeous ‘Cappadocia’.
We spent 2 evenings on the terrace just relaxing with beer, French fries, sheesha and the lovely weather and scenic views of Cappadocia.
Hospitality: All the staff at the hotel are very helpful. The girls at the reception desk too were very warm and welcoming except for the one Man at the reception who sits there at night, he didn’t seem very obliging or happy to help at all. On the night before our check out which was the next morning, he wanted us to clear all our bills stating that he wouldn’t be there the next day when we were checking out. Also, he didn’t even have an invoice ready for us. We found it odd, since there are only tourists at the hotels and how can there be an empty front desk at any time during the day.
Otherwise, they booked us an airport shuttle, a hamam experience and helped us with anything we may have needed.
All in all, a comfortable stay at the lovely Divan Cave House.

We stayed at Divan Cave House for 2 nights in a junior suite. We were pleasantly surprised by the space within the suite and the size of the bathroom. Definitely enough room for 2 people to move around comfortably. The bed was pretty comfortable and wifi in the rooms was satisfactory if you didn’t need to stream. The only issue in the rooms was the fact that small pieces of paint/cement appeared to fall periodically from the ceiling. We noticed this both in the bedroom and bathroom areas for both rooms (saw bits and pieces on the towels in the bathroom and on the sheets).
There was a nice breakfast spread each morning and the dining area allowed for indoor/outdoor seating with great natural light and amazing views. You could also request made to order eggs/omelettes (albeit with limited toppings). There is no restaurant at this hotel location but the breakfast is a nice touch and a great way to start the day. There are several restaurants within walking distance for those needing to explore lunch and dinner options.
I would be remiss if I did not comment on the spectacular views from the rooftop terrace at Divan Cave House. We were truly mesmerized as we stared in awe at the hot air balloons all around us. Amazing photo opps here - and the fact that there were so many guests on the terrace at 5:30/6:00 a.m. speaks to that. You may also be afforded great views of the hot air balloons directly from your room (as we were) depending on your room location. This view is unbeatable and you can only really appreciate this once you’re there in the midst of the hot air balloon splendor!
Would stay here again without hesitation, if ever back in the area. Highly recommend!

The hotel is a bit high up on the hill and a bit away from town center so walking up and down can be a challenge. The room was spacious with all facilities, esp excellent heating despite -6 temperature. Breakfast was good. Staff was very helpful in arranging airport transfers, booking tours and even providing free shuttle to town center if needed. They even arranged a customized tour for me. The highlight is the terrace view of the balloons in the early morning, Even if you dont ride them you can get excellent photos. Highly recommend staying there. The airport transfer to and from Kayseri Airport cost only 100 TL.

The hotel was really nice and clean, all the staff were really helpful, when we got there elmas took time out to explain everything to us and helped us book everything we wanted (at a good price, cheaper than found elsewhere) breakfast was really nice and we were looked after and asked if we wanted anything all the time. Would highly recommend. Downside is there is a 5 minute walk uphill from the strip but on the flip side this means the views from the hotel are great too. Kebab looked after us as well. All staff are great.

The check in was simple and fast even though we got there at 2:00 am because the commute from the airport to the hotel takes 1 hour. The shuttle price to and from the airport has a reasonable price of $10 per person each way. The cave room we got was located on the lateral side of the property, it was somewhat quiet , spacious , with plenty of hot water and complimentary water, tea and coffee. Only 2 problems I encountered, 1 - Lack of cleanliness in the bathroom and 2- The windows curtains don’t cover the light and is hard to get a nice sleep , aside that you can hear all the cars passing by. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast, buffet style and is very good with a great selection of fruits and protein and a great view. The staff is very friendly and catering to the guest needs. Eliz, the owner was very humble, sweet and you wouldn’t know she is the owner cause she works as hard as the other staff members and has great hospitality . My flight didn’t leave until 7:00 pm and my check out was at 12:00 pm so we stayed all day in the reception area and they offered us complimentary tea with a great view and nice conversations with the Russian queen “Solange”. The hotel is located near the famous Seten restaurant which by the way the food is 5 stars and minutes walking from the famous carpet galerie ikman. We rented an automatic car for the day with the hotel and we payed $55.00 and we were able to see all the main attractions in Cappadocia, just be advised that the streets are all jacked up , tons of dirt and driving can be challenging. We bought the balloon ride with the hotel thru a third party company and we paid $250 per person, which is the price everywhere cause we asked. Shout out to Sinan, that guy is very nice and attentive , he was the one that checked me in and was attentive to not only us but all the tourist during breakfast. I will choose Divan Cabe again if I return to Cappadocia, they’re are professionals, organized and Eliz runs that place very good.

Hello! What I can tell you is that the hotel is warm inside (as they have heating) but in Grémé the temperature difference between morning and evening can be quite high, so you need to bring a jacket that will keep you warm. The hotel is located on the higher ground in Grémé and there are some excursions within the town. When you check in at the hotel, the hotel staff will inform you of the excursions available in Cappadocia. They are very welcoming people and you can talk to them if you need anything. Thank you.
