Hotel's Favourite
We visited Cappadocia specifically to experience the hot air balloon and chose the Vineyard Cave Hotel based on the view from room top, its location and the reviews. The hotel owner and staff were friendly, responsive and the owner spoke excellent English, which was very helpful. We spent three nights and stayed in the Arched Suite and Deluxe Cave Room with both being spacious and comfortable. In the mornings, we enjoyed the seeing the hot air balloons from the roof top deck. The hotel is centrally located with the main part of town, a 5-10 minute walk away. The roads around town are not in the best condition and it was usually easier to walk, unless you are leaving town to explore the surrounding area. Overall, we felt three to four nights in the area provided enough time to experience most of the area. We would recommend Vineyard Cave Hotel to others.

Very clean and comfortable hotel in the heart of Goreme. The rooms have a very local/rustic look (it’s a cave after all) but they are very tidy and surprisingly warm during the winter. Bathroom is very clean.
Osman is an amazing host. He will make sure you spend a great time touring Cappadocia. Breakfast was very good and you get really good views of the hot air balloons from the terrace. 5 min walk from all restaurants and ATMs. Will definitely stay here on our next visit.

Tl dr: Polite and helpful staff, clean and well equipped rooms, delicious breakfast and drinks, reasonably priced.
My wife and me have spent an excellent five days here as part of our honeymoon.
On arrival we have found a very clean room with fresh sheets and towels etc. The room also had slippers, shampoo conditioner, shower gel etc.
After that we talked to the manager Osman who is very friendly, also great sense of humor, speaks excellent english and some other languages. He gave us plenty of options to think about what to visit, with different prices like car rental, guided tours private tour guides etc. He also helped and booked us airport transfer(even for arrival), and even helped with booking organized tours for us. During You stay You will be able to have a breakfast there, which is included in the price. They serve many different kinds of seeds, cheese, breads, fruits, sweet and salty creams like humus or nutella, or You may have eggs the way You like.
The staff brings You coffee, water, orange juice(freshly squized!), tea on demand during breakfast and even during the day, free of charge. There is room cleaning every day if You need also fresh towels, and they also refresh Your fridge with some bottled water and fruit juice.
The staff is very kind, they are super polite and are actively seeking out if You need something. The view from the hotels balcony is nothing short of artistic, if You get up early enough You can even see the hot air balloons taking off and make beautiful pictures.
I could go on and on but the point is, I cant recommend this place enough, if I will have the chance to go back to cappadocia, I wouldn't look further for accomodoation, just this place. 5/5 for sure!!

This is my second time staying at the Vineyard Cave Hotel, and the customer service I received here is some of the best I’ve ever had at any hotel in the world.
The manager Osman goes above and beyond to welcome you and make you feel at home. His team are always offering you tea/coffee/fresh orange juice whenever you enter the breakfast room, even if it isn’t breakfast time ☺️ The rooms here are really, really spacious and beautifully decorated in a traditional Turkish style. The rooms maintain an even temperature so even when it’s very hot outside, it’s cool in the room. Location is ideal because you are 5 mins walk from the centre of Goreme where there are multiple restaurants and shops. Osman can also assist with booking hot air balloons, ATV, guided tours, hire car and all sorts - so this hotel really does offer it all! His father Hasan is a first-class tour guide with ample knowledge and a great sense of humour! Highly recommend, will be returning i.A!

My friend and I stayed for two nights in September. The hotel has amazing views of the city and the staff have done a great job of putting extra cleaning / sanitation measures in place for Covid. Osman was very helpful during our stay and helped arrange onward travel, local tours, and even a taxi driver to follow my friend and I while we were ballooning so he could go straight to the airport after. Wonderful stay and great people.

While visiting Cappadocia it's a must to have staying in a cave experience. This hotel is the best place to do that! It is located in the city center of Göreme, clean and beautiful rooms are filled with all little things which you might need during your stay, amazing terraces, unexpectedly found Ottoman traditional clothes to try and surprise-personalized breakfast with a view! The owner Osman was very helpful by providing all information prior to arrival and at the place too, very attentive to details and guests requests. Cappadocia in winter, when fairy chimneys are sprinkled with snow is out of this world...Stay here and it would be an ultimate lifetime experience!

My husband and I had a wonderful time here. It provides incredible value for money, free parking, free tea and other drinks as well as breakfast included. Breakfast was lovely, nice selection of fresh Turkish ingredients. Our bedroom had a gorgeous traditional design and a hamam-inspired bathroom that was such a treat. The host Osman is really helpful and assisted us in arranging an unforgettable hot-air balloon experience. You can also easily walk from the hotel to the main street where there are nice restaurants and ATMs. I will definitely visit again.

Everything about this hotel is perfect.
Osman was very helpful in organizing excursions, as well as providing information of what and how to see or do and always gave response with a smile.
Host is very interesting person.
Do not miss the opportunity to talk with him about Russian culture, Russian language, hear his comic stories.
Osman also helped with arranging airport transfers.
Other staff were also very nice.
The suite includes a bedroom with an extra bed and a large bathroom. The decoration is in a local style, with many antique details.
There are some compliments in fridge in the room: water, juice, cakes.
The only thing that lagged a little was the internet, it sometimes was very low in the room.
I undoubtedly recommend this property as you are going to have a perfect stay for sure.
Excellent location to discover treasures of Cappadocia region and appreciate the service and hospitality of the Turkish people.
Thank you again for warm welcoming!

Stayed at this cave hotel in Göreme for four nights in April. The property is located up a small hill in a quiet part of Göreme, but just a 5 minute walk away from the town square with all the restaurants and tour operators. If you prefer quiet nights away from the noise, but close enough for dining out at night, this hotel is for you.
My lodgings consisted of a room en-suite, with a single bed in one room and a double bed in the other. There were two closets and two tables for storage, and cushions on the floor if you prefer to lounge.
Breakfast consisted of an extensive buffet with all shorts of sweets, baked breads, cheeses, meats, yoghurt, fresh fruit, and the like.
The owner, Osman, is extremely friendly and helpful, and provided me with all the details of my stay upon booking. He also provided helpful suggestions about booking airport transfers, tours, and balloon rides. Booking via Osman typically proceed using his WhatsApp number.
Overall, my stay was excellent and I highly recommend this hotel in Göreme.

Our family had a wonderful stay at VCH. We arrived late in the evening and the staff readily helped us with our luggage into our rooms. The rooms are exactly like what was shown in their listings. We were advised of the breakfast timing of 8am to 10am. We thought we might missed it as we were going for the Hot Air Balloon ride 7.30am to 9.30am. But we made it and had the best sunny side omelette, fresh orange juice besides the wide buffet spread. We stayed 2 nights and were to leave very early the following morning and Osman prepared sandwiches for us on the road. This exceeded our expectations. Well done VCH!

I arrived at 330am from Istanbul and paid for the extra night so I could get into my room when I got to the hotel (430am)
The hot air balloons ascend usually about 10 minutes before sunrise. That is likely at least an hour and a half before breakfast is served at the hotel. However, the viewing area is open 24 hours a day on the upper floors of the hotel. Your views will be spectacular. I believe that also coffee and tea are available at that time.
Yes they help book, but please liaise with them before you check in, as bookings have to be done in advance especially peak season time.
Breakfast made to your choice.
Superb service.
