This was our best stay in Turkey, all thanks to the great hospitality of our hosts Taher and Ismail. The cave room was beautiful, clean, spacious and cozy with special decorations for our honeymoon. Taher was very kind and made all arrangements of our tour in the best prices possible including the airport transfers, atv tour, green tour, taxi and hot air balloon flight. The best part of each day was the lovely breakfast spread freshly prepared for each guest. The location of the hotel is ideal as it is only 2 mins walk from the city centre with lots of restaurants, grocery stores and view points nearby on walking distance. I genuinely recommend this place to anyone visiting Goreme You will thoroughly enjoy your stay at the Chelebi Cave Hotel. Thanks to Taher for being a great host and taking such good care of us!

I found Chelebi Cave house by searching online and decided to go with them based on the excellent reviews. We arrived to find that the hotel was in a great location, just a short walk from the centre of the town. The manager, Tahir, was there to welcome us and our room was ready for us as soon as we arrived.
The hotel is small but beautiful.Considering the very reasonable price we paid for the room, the room exceeded my expectations. It was tastefully furnished with a very large and comfortable bed so even our baby son was able to sleep with us without any of us being cramped or uncomfortable. With tv, sofa, kettle with cups saucers and coffee, sufficient place to store and hang clothes and accessories, a relly sweet view over the idyllic little courtyard below and the classic fairy chimneys of Cappadoccia in the background. Even the shower was great - I think it was the only time I remember a hotel where you got a perfect level of control over the hot vs cold.
Breakfasts on the terrace where excellent, with the staff bringing us new foods each morning to keep things interesting, and they were more than accommodating to our 16 -month-old son, despite the noise and mess he sometimes made! After breakfast tea and coffee as well as at other times in the day were given free of charge and on the last day Tahir kindly allowed us to use the lounge chairs in the courtyard to pass away the last couple of hours before we returned home.
I have no a single complaint, no quibble about our stay. In fact, I would take a holiday in the same town and hotel again just for the knowledge that I can rely on Chelebi Cave house and staff to make it perfect once again.

The room was mesmerizing to say the least, filled with culture and the coolest thing was how the owners explained how it is naturally cooled without AC.
Taher and Ismail were extremely helpful and resourceful in connecting us with the hot air balloon and horse-riding companies at a great price. They also went above and beyond with how they helped us, best service you can ever receive.
The unexpected surprise was how incredible the breakfast was, this was honestly the best breakfast i've ever had; fresh fruit jams, all kinds of delicious cheeses and bread selection, alongside perfectly cooked eggs of your choice with a cup of Turkish tea in hand...all with a beautiful terrace view of Cappadocia.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who's looking for the perfect experience in their stay at Capadocia.

Haftasonu Kapadokya Tatilimiz icin Chelebi Cave House'u tercih ettik. Covid sebebiyle tedirgin olmamiza ragmen odalar tertemiz ve dezenfekteydi. Calisanlar harika; kisitli zamanda balon ve sehir turu ayarlama konusunda cok yardimci oldular. Ve her sabah mukemmel zengin bir kahvaltiyla ve terasin harika manzarasiyla gune baslamaniza olanak sagliyorlar. Mukemmel konumu sayesinde goreme merkezine sadece birkac dakika uzakliktasiniz. Tekrar gidersem hic dusunmeden tercih edecegim bir otel.
We preferred Chelebi Cave House for our weekend trip to Cappadocia. Even though we were nervous because of Covid, we found everything cleaned and disinfected. Staff were very helpful; they helped us to arrange balloon and city tours in a limited time. You will have very rich Turkish breakfast with an amazing Caappadocia view from the terrace. Location was perfect to rich Goreme centre with a few mins walking. I would definitely prefer the same hotel if I go once again.

We arrived at midnight yet found taahir wide awake and bright eyed, cheerfully welcoming us and making us feel at home. In the midst of snow we were greeted with a warm, spotless, magnificent cave that was true to the spirit of cappadocia. Exactly what we searced for. Modern yet authentic. Wonderful setting providing a unique cave experience. Bathroom was clean, water was boiling. Nothing beats the breakfast served here Served like a fine dining experience, the array of choice and spoils was tantalizing. Served fresh from pan to plate, each delicacy made individually and served so. True royal treatment. Must try, quite the expansive spread. Our hosts were extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the local culture and were brimming with the most helpful recommendations at a surprisingly good rate comparatively. Ever willing to please, humble, kind and cheerful. Taahir definitely had his finger on the pulse throughout our visit.

Chelebi Cave House is a charming small hotel in a picturesque Göreme street, some 200 m from the bus station. When I arrived there, I was warmly welcomed by Ismail (aka Smile) who told me that it was a family-run hotel, and indeed, he and Tahir did everything to make my stay comfortable, as if I were at home. My room (“Beyzade”) was spacious, with a good AC and everything necessary in the bathroom. There was only a minor (not crucial!) problem with water in the toilet that could not be fixed at once, so Tahir even offered me to upgrade my room – but actually, there was no need for that. Breakfasts in traditional Turkish style were served by Tahir on the rooftop terrace: they were abundant and very delicious. It was a pleasure to spend four nights there and to communicate with these nice and friendly people (both Ismail and Tahir speak English). I am most grateful to them for their hospitality and the way they manage this cozy hotel.

We stayed for 3 nights and were very happy with our choice, with its fantastic service and lovely setting up on the hillside with great views of the town, valley beyond and morning balloons. There is a large, pretty courtyard with vines, flowers, artwork and seating, as well as a gorgeous rooftop terrace where the excellent breakfast is served. We had one of the large cave suites and it was sensational: big but snug, quirky but very comfortable. Tahrir and Slim are excellent hosts and looked after us and our arrangements with great care. A great place that I’m happy to recommend very highly.

This hotel was perfect for me and my 3 friends! We stayed in the family suite with 4 beds and had plenty of space. All of the staff were so helpful and accomodating, the breakfast was AMAZING, and the location is perfect. They arranged our airport transfer, as well as a private tour with lunch included on both days of our stay with very little advance notice for about $65 per person per day. That's just a little more than a group tour and so worth it. I had read a few blogs about cave hotels being a bit run down and sometimes smelling strange or damp, but the room was warm and in great condition. No weird smells :) One girl in our group was working during the trip, and they let her use a spare room to take calls in while the rest of us slept. So kind. I would recommend Chelebi to anyone I know travelling to Cappadocia

I recommend chelebi hotel to stay at Goreme. The hotel service is very friendly, the hotel is clean and close to tourist attractions. We really liked the breakfast provided. The owner helped us order hot balloon and the ATV tour at reasonable prices

Traveling during COVID times, especially with your kids is a stressful event. I had the pleasant opportunity of staying in Chelebi Cave Hotels during our trip to Cappadocia and I have no words to describe it. The hotel is architecturally stunning beyond what I can put down in words. The rooms were well decorated, well maintained and clean. It has the best location in Goreme, I’ve seen compared to other hotels. The terrace views from the hotel are breathtaking and the breakfast made by Guner is the added attraction. Perhaps the best thing about Chelebi was the staff (Ismail/Taher), who were extremely friendly, helpful and made my family feel at ease and welcomed in a foreign country. They arranged all our tours and even arranged the balloon ride, which was the highlight of our trip and went out of their way to make sure nothing went wrong with our trip. It was all phenomenal! Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the blink of an eye. If you ever visit Cappadocia, you MUST visit Chelebi Cave Hotel. Expect us again soon!
