You are at the right place in Cappadocia to spend some magical days, where your aim of a classic vacation will turn upside down, and entertainment and rest will be accompanied by culture and history. You will forget about the comfort and luxury of the 21st Century, finding yourself in rooms graved into rocks, taking you back for ages and you may not want to leave. Of course, we also recommend you to have a look outside due to the unique location of our hotel. Goreme is located in a sophisticated area southerly of the "red river" (Kizilirmak) in the middle of the Nevsehir-Urgup-Avanos triangle. Beside of being located in Goreme - the pearl of Cappadocia - our hotel is placed at the bottom of the most magnificent point; the Aydin Kiragi which is also known under its other name "hill of lovers" (Asiklar Tepesi) in a romantic looking street having history written all over it. While drinking your coffee you may enjoy the storybook landscape with fairy chimneys all over the place in this little global village. We are waiting for you to read, understand, live and tell this fairy tale written by the hands of rain and wind, culture and history.

Artemis Cave Suites has garnered praise for its prime location, offering guests breathtaking views and sunset spots, while the exceptional cleanliness of the hotel ensures a pristine stay. The atmosphere is lauded for its luxurious yet comfortable ambience, enhanced by live music. Amenities such as comprehensive spa services and the option to book hot air balloon rides add to the hotel's allure.
The spacious and uniquely styled cave rooms are another highlight, alongside commendable service that often exceeds guest expectations. While the hotel offers good value, including discounts on cash transactions, some reviewers caution about the high cost of airport transfers.

Detailed Reviews
This hotel is even more stunning than the pictures reveal. Traveling to Cappadocia on a whim during Corona Times meant no hot air balloons or underground cities, but we were still so happy with the trip, especially the hotel. The staff is really friendly - they even have an adorable dog that lives at the hotel named Izmir! The terrace facing the valley at sunset is just unbelieveable. We also felt really safe as there is practically no indoor space at the hotel except your room. In addition, staff is all wearing masks and there is hand sanitizer available everywhere. My ONLY drawback is that I didnt take into account how sleeping in a real cave might feel. It is quite humid and damp in the rooms. We got used to it, but it was a bit of a surprise. Comes with the territory and well worth it!

We stayed at Hotel Artemis for 2 nights in a cave room #206. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Buffet style breakfast was delicious and coffee/tea/ water was available all the time in room. There are multiple terraces to choose from all with a beautiful view. Directly across the street is a convenience store that was great to get snacks or drinks between meals.
There is a mini-fridge, but it is not stocked.
The grounds and terraces are incredibly well kept, with a “staged” area for all the Instagram worthy backgrounds people want. Overall, I have no complaints. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious and it is located within a minutes walk to multiple restaurants and cafes. Izmir, the hotel “mascot” dog is absolutely adorable and very friendly.
My only suggestion for improvement would be to change the room locks from a physical key to key card. Carrying a key on a large keychain/tag is annoying and the doors are a pain to open and close.

I have been to close to fifty different hotels in my life and this place is easily the best hotel I have had the pleasure or staying at.
The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your needs are met, not only at the hotel, but in Goreme. They have given no bad recommendations, will find you the best and cheapest tours available, and will accommodate any feasible request.
The rooms are phenomenal, both comfortable, and quiet. The grounds are impeccably clean and have amazing views but at sunrise and sunset, and it is a close walk to the downtown area while still just outside of the hustle and bustle of town. My only regret is that we could not stay longer!

Epic Hotel with epic hospitality! We stayed in a Deluxe Cave Suite. The room and the bathroom was huge and had a great feeling to it. It didn't have the clammy feel that we experienced in other cave hotels. They have a good breakfast selection and a restaurant which mainly does finger food. They also have a small bar with Hookah as well. While the food was okay, it was amazing to smoke a hookah from the rooftop of the hotel while watching the sun go down.
Coming back to hospitality:
On our last day, we had to had to checkout but our bus was later at 8pm. On our request they arranged a taxi for us to show us our missed spots (not free but below market rate). When we came back they gave us bottled water without requesting it. They also asked us to feel free to use their bathroom to freshen up and provided towels as well 😍.
On top of that they dropped us to the bus station without any charge or expectation of so. Truly amazing.
If I come back to Cappadocia it will be because of the hotel. I wish I had spent all my days here 🧿

There are so many cave suites to choose from in Cappadocia, I’m very happy we chose to stay at Artemis cave suites. Everything about our stay here was exceptional. The grounds were stunning. Examples of local artwork adorned the property. We booked a cave room. The room was well appointed and exceptionally clean. Our room had King size bed, a small sitting area with 2 wingback chairs and a small writing desk with chair. A safe is provided in the room for your valuables. The bathroom was much bigger than normal hotel rooms, with a soaking tub and a large shower. Nice smelling toiletries and a loofa mit were provided fresh every morning. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the sheets were very soft. Two small complimentary bottles of local wine (1 red, 1 white) and 2 bottles of water welcomed us to the room. The water bottles were replenished every morning.
Breakfast is served at the restaurant every morning. It is a traditional Turkish breakfast served buffet style. Eggs and omelets made to order. Our favorite was the small dishes of honeycombed honey. Terrace seating is available, however mornings in October can be chilly, and everyone chose to sit inside.
There are several terraces to enjoy balloon viewing. Unfortunately do to weather, ballon flights were canceled we were not able to enjoy watching the balloons from the hotel terrace (we were however, lucky enough to go in a flight the first morning of our visit).
A bar is situated on one of the terraces with comfortable seating to enjoy drinks and snacks in the evening. I cannot begin to express how nice the staff here is. Ayse was our contact from the time we booked. She was extremely helpful in answering all our questions and booking excursions for us. I honestly wish I had asked the names of all the staff as everyone was equally nice and accommodating! I took a crash course in Turkish (which was a bust) because I read that very little English is spoken in Turkey. However, it was not necessary here. All staff spoke exceptional English (I believe some spoke multiple languages)!

Great service and location. People at front desk were very helpful in arranging tours at competitive prices. The room was upgraded to a cavr deluxe for free. The breakfast was amazing and the restaurant view in the morning is exceptional as we could see all the hot air balloons. Looking forward to staying here again

The staff and dogs were friendly at the Artemis Cave Suites from our arrival. In fact they were in touch over WhatsApp long in advance helping to prearrange airport transfers and trips on our behalf - they made it very easy.
The room was clean and well furnished with generous space and all amenities. We had asked for a specific room based on our online research which they arranged much to our delight.
I used the spa on the final day which was a great treat and definitely to be recommended if you get the chance.
5 minutes walk up the hill takes you to the panorama spot to watch the morning balloons. There are terraces at the restaurant and bar levels of the hotel which would work nicely if balloons were flying across the town but during our visit they were flying over the love valley nearby so could be seen in the distance only.
The quality of the prebooked tours (ATVs and green tour) were both really good at fair prices.
We will remember Artemis Cave Suites fondly.

Ahmad took care of all our needs always with a smile on his face. Ayse recommended an amazing traditional restaurant to us. Artemis has the menus, and they call the order in themselves to have it delivered to the hotel. Any experiences you want to book, 110% book through Artemis. We were there only for 2 days. On day 1, Artemis booked a taxi for us who took us everywhere, was amazingly patient, pretty good value, and they even recommended some locations we missed! I cannot rave enough about how amazing our experience was mostly due to the hospitality at Artemis. Don’t even think, book Artemis!

Spent sometime researching where to stay during our visit to the Cappadocia region and Artemis Cave Suites always had excellent reviews so we ended up choosing this hotel. The front desk staff was amazingly helpful pre-trip helping me secure dinner reservations and a private tour. On arrival the staff was great and welcoming. Our room was a huge Rock that had been used for pigeons. It was lovely with a nice views of other cave hotels in the evenings and mornings. We loved their vegan restaurant, Sisters, with a lovely host/owner. The wait staff was great. There were 2 Mohammed’s to mention, both Afghan refugees. The first helped us with our luggage and always had a warm smile and greeting for us, the other was the waiter at Sisters, also incredibly attentive and kind. Overall loved our time at Artemis Cave Suites.

This is a beautiful place to stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms were spotlessly clean and lovely. One of our party had a problem with his room and was upgraded instantly.
The hotel terrace has a brilliant view of the balloons in the morning, and over the town. We visited in winter and appreciated the warm rooms and under floor heating. Because of covid restrictions the restaurant was only open for breakfast which was amazing and worth a review all on its own. Everywhere you look at this hotel there is something unique and lovely to see.
The restrictions meant restaurants in town were only open for delivery but the staff were happy to arrange for meals to be delivered to the hotel restaurant so we could eat in comfort. I loved staying here and will definitely come back.
