This is a super late post but better late than never, as they say. The location: I absolutely love Kabak Valley - it is a five star location, away from the insane amount of tourists in Istanbul, and Cappadocia, Ephesus, Pamukkale, etc etc - ie other places we went to (plus some). This was the escape we needed from all...

We had reserved the whole spot and had confirmed so for over a month, invited friends who had booked flights from all over the world to join us, and then they cancelled (due to a decision that could have been made well in advance as we presented all info etc at the initial reservation booking) and this left us in...

You are never the same person as you walk out, you are a lighter soul! It is a great place to be, right at the middle of the forest, great views, very well take care of, could become even more perfect with faster wifi and more variety on the buffet considering the fact that it is quite pricy.

We stumbled upon this place through recommendations while travelling. It is a great alternative to staying in crowded Oludeniz, if you don't mind the extra journey. It is set in a stunning location, surrounded by hanging cliffs and blue water. There are hammocks and lounges everywhere, and they all come with a magnificent view of the sea. All the basic facilities...

I loved my time at Shambala. We had booked 4 nights after hearing about Shambala from a friend, and two days in, extended it to 6 nights, we just didn't want to leave. It is set in the most amazing location, a photo never seems to do it justice. The staff and volunteers were super friendly and helpful and every...

We came across Shambala purely by accident. We had trekked along the coast from nearby Faralya and needed some water. Noticing the signage and entrance, we just wondered in. We immediately felt welcomed by the staff. They were happy for us to have a wonder around even though we were not staying. So we had a wonder and soon realised...

I stayed at Shambala as a solo traveler for almost 2.5 weeks and have no regrets. I chose it because I was looking for a quiet retreat where I could get some research and writing done but at the same time feel like I was on vacation. I thought about choosing a place through AirBNB, but I didn't want to...

A hidden place right up by a turquoise-blue sea at the edge of the cliff. To reach the place a walk through pin trees and breathtaking views made already your day as you walk far away from touristic places and noises such as Ölüdeniz. Our first words when we arrived was "we found paradise!" The place is perfect to rest,...

This is a literally perfectly located lodge at one of the most beautiful and untouched spots of southern Turkey. The Shambala is a nature friendly (but not eco) lodge. The rooms are individually and beautifully decorated with views to match. Common areas are cool and friendly, English speaking staff is always smiling and helpful, the sea within a pleasant walking...

Perched on a cliff overlooking an amazing cove. Kabak is an amazing place to see where you can hike to the waterfalls or climb/swim to a mini sea cave. Or go swimming in the beautiful cove. The staff was great, the food was fresh and healthy. I am also in love with the sun/moon deck. If you stay here make...
