On the map, Blacktree Farm is just a brief dash from the beach and the coast. It's not -- the windy mountain road never seems to stop, but the prize at the end -- a fantastic farm in a highly remote area -- is well worth the distance. The vastness of stars at night attested to that. Looking up at...

Atrocious. Despite being asked to ring, which we did from Alinca we had not been expected. We arrived on a cold evening to a freezing cottage, no fire, the bedding hadn't been aired, there was no hot water and to top it off there were animal droppings in one bed. The restaurant had a fire that did little to warm...

What a wonderful place to stay. Each cabin is large and even has a fire place for colder nights. Ducks ,rabbits .dogs and chooks running around which makes it a perfect stop off for families with children. It has a pool for hotter times and a library .The food was so good we did not want to leave and the...

My husband and I needed a break from our "not so 5 star" honeymoon in Oludeniz. Thankfully we had some friends with excellent local knowledge and so the five of us agreed to go to Blacktree Farm. If you are after a slice of peaceful paradise combined with an amazing hostess, look no further. From the moment we arrived, we...

In a nutshell - perfect! Beautiful, remote location with incredible views. Great fun for the kids who loved the pool donkeys goats and opportunities to take part in art competitions. If the kids are happy then so are we - managed to read five books which says it all really - while my husband climbed various mountains.

We stayed for two nights whilst walking the Lycian Way. It is an idyllic spot in the hills. It is peaceful and beautiful. Anthea is an incredible hostess. She has a superb knowledge of the local area, took us to see wild flowers. The food is amazing. Definitely a place to go back to.

We were booked into Blacktree for two nights by New Experience Holidays as part of a six day hike along the Lycian Way. Anthea, the owner is an amazing lady who kept us entertained and informed with her stories and vast knowledge of the area. We were near the end of our hike and so appreciated her advice on what...

We spent here one night, until we walked on the Lycian Way. Because of this my review come from not just the average turist feeling. The place of the hotel is very special, very peacefull, with some rustic family cottages, with outdoor pool, and very good kitchen with biofood. But the most important thing, the philosophy of the owner is...

We stayed here for 12 days. 12 delicious, relaxed, happy days. It is remote, definitely, but that's what's so wonderful about it - once you've made it up that mountain! After a couple of journeys the mountain road becomes quite ordinary (not the views which never fail to amaze!). It's so easy to switch off here, the kids had such...
