If you're lugging bags around, its quite off the main road ... the people are welcoming but the rooms are musty and we had to change rooms twice becaus of a broken lock in one bathroom and a faulty shower in the other ... overall, not that nice

On the pensions website I found the price of 30TL for a night for the month of September, but was told by the man working at the desk that this was "wrong" and "far too cheap for this month." Thinking that they were trying to get another 10 lira from me I declined to pay any more than what I...

Found this place on hostel world. Chose it for the price and trip advisor ratings. The room is basic with clean and comfortable beds, wifi, air con and bathroom. We used the kitchen which is clean. Cheap supermarket around the corner. Washing service is good and fast. Given delicious refreshing apple tea each day. Very welcoming and friendly family. Recommended...

Tucked back near the homely cement canals, their bridges, and just a few short blocks from the heart of Marmaris - the Ataturk seaside statue - is this handy, inexpensivel Pansiyon/Pension. With a simple map on the back of some handout we quickly started feeling our way, exploring this tourist town in no time. The entry to Maltepe looks like...

What an outstanding place to stay! We visited Memo and his family after sailing for a week. It is a very relaxing place in a great area - away from bar street and the hustle bustle. Memo lined us up with a scooter and route along the west coast, it was stunning and we got to see the real Turkey....

Memo and his family really go out of their way to make you feel at home. We were greeted with apple tea on arrival and Memo was so friendly - we felt right at home in their lovely courtyard! He suggested a scooter trip to the nearby peninsula and wrote our entire itinerary for us, including an amazing stop at...

This is not a 4 stars hotel, but I never had such good service before. The rooms are small but clean and very cheap, a good place for a backpacker. The big plus is the owner, Memo. He really treat you like family and was very helpful. He even gave me a free ride on his scooter to the port...

I've stay at Maltepe Panysion for 3 nights. I didn't expected to be so much time but the owners are so kind and gratefull that I stayed all this time. Close to everywhere: beach, center and buses to go everywhere around Turkey. The rooms are clean, some of them with their own bathroom and shower. You've got what you pay...

Memo and his family are true jewels in the hostel/pension world. Great Turkish hospitality, very kind people who had a big part of my best travel story ever. Memo arranged for a 24 hour scooter rental for about $35US for me and gave me a great route to travel through the coastal, country and mountain roads and towns around Marmaris,...
