I moved here from the Danat Al Ain to be closer to the Al Ain chess club where I was playing in a chess tournament and I was also curious about the hotel which opened on 10th May 2017. I thought it would be nice to stay somewhere more modern as the Danat is rather old and rundown despite have a great 33 metre swimming pool for adults only.
They make a big thing about giving you a key pass to your room on your mobile phone but the problem is that it doesn't work in the lift nor does it open the door to the gym so you have to go and get a physical card. The gym had cardio equipment and 3 Life Fitness multistations so it's enough for a workout.
The rooftop pool is much smaller than it looks in the photos. the lifeguard told me it was 20 metres long and only 4 metres wide and heated to 30°C so when I found some children in it, I realized I wasn't going to be able to get a decent swim and I left. It's open from 6am to 11pm and the lifeguard told me that it was reserved for adults after 7pm which was a great idea.
I found the room quite spartan when I first arrived, it was modern with carpet tiles and had just one armchair with no footrest so didn't feel particularly cosy. However, it grew on me and by the next day I felt better in it and it was definitely good value for money. The only problem was the two long neon reading lights above the bed which both stay on so it's too bright when you want to read at night.
There's a Happy Hour in the rooftop bar from 5-7pm but I was too late for it so went to the bar on the ground floor which has a Happy Hour from 6-8pm with 2 drinks for the price of one. I sat outside in the garden and it was really nice and the waiter from Morocco was very friendly.
I invited a friend to lunch at the Olive Tree restaurant on the ground floor. It was just alright, the mushroom soup didn't seem to be freshly made and the Caesar's salad had no Caesar's sauce in it, I had to ask the waitress to bring me some but if you don't want to go out it's fine to eat there.
The staff were all very friendly so I would stay there again especially as I found a great laundry called Fine Clean Laundry which was a 10 minute drive from the hotel, open non-stop all day till 11pm and they will do your laundry the same day so that was very convenient.

It is not the first time that I have stayed at the aloft and all the staff of this hotel differs from the others for their kindness, availability, professionalism. All the rooms are well-kept and equipped with all the necessary comforts for a great stay; the restaurant offers a good and varied choice of international cuisine. The rooftop offers the possibility to stay in the pool in perfect tranquility and there is a pleasant overview of the city. In the evening, on the other hand, events are organized every day in which you can participate at a fairly affordable cost. When I'm in al ain I don't look for other options, for me Aloft is always the first and only choice. The whole hotel is perfectly managed, like an orchestra conductor conducts his elements .. I can't wait to come back to you. you are like my home

Stayed here with a group of friends over the weekend in order to have a base to explore al ain from. Arrived at 3pm to check in to be informed that the rooms were not ready and that it would be another half an hour or so. The staff were very friendly and offered complimentary breakfast as a goodwill gesture.
We went up to the rooftop bar for a drink or two whilst we waited for the room but did not receive the room keys until around 5:30 despite heading down to reception regularly for updates. We really would not have minded the delay being longer than the 30mins we were first told at first, but please be honest from the start otherwise people will just get annoyed - which we did.
We were then taken to our room but it was a smoking room. At no point had we requested a smoking room and it smelt like a stale ashtray and you couldn’t even open the window. Luckily they were able to provide us a non smoking room straight away once we asked. As a warning though when checking in request a non smoking room.
The room had everything that you could need for a short stay and a very nice shower area. There was only a 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner but all of the products smelt nice so no real complaints.
The bed was comfy and we slept well until around 6am when we were awoken by the children in the room upstairs and then other children playing American football in the corridor outside our room. Not the hotels fault as such but it showed there was very little in the way of soundproofing in the rooms or security patrolling corridors.
Next came the breakfast which we were informed should cost 120AED. Although it was nice it was not worth that price tag with there being lots of coffee shops in al ain that would provide a nicer breakfast at a cheaper price.
Overall a very average stay. Would we stay again - maybe if we needed a base in al ain and the price was right but we also wouldn’t rush back to experience the aloft.

Aloft probably follows more of a "modern" hotel design while I prefer more classic. It's also relatively new. It was fine and the breakfast buffet was quite excellent, but overall, for a few dollars more you can go to Danat Al Ain resort which, in my opinion, Aloft can't hold a candle to. Danat Al Ain has a very large property, bigger rooms, and multiple pools--not just the fairly small "rooftop" pool that Aloft has.
Of course, Aloft is more centrally located, so depending on why you are in Al Ain and when you have to be where, some people may choose it for its location. But for me, Danat Al Ain would have to be a LOT more than just $10-$25 more than Aloft for me to be convinced to stay at Aloft instead of Danat Al Ain. The only reason that I stayed in Aloft for a few nights was that someone else booked it and paid it for me. The nights I booked and paid for, I stayed in Danat Al Ain.

Positive: Suite Savvy was spacious, modern and well equipped.
Staff was nice and hepful (+ for Mehdi at booking and Jeinina at breakfast).
Fast internet.
Negative: Very expensive room with breakfast (850aed) regarding hotel category and location.
Food is far below average, and service is extremely disorganized (Breakfast).
Room service is very complicated (front desk doesn't know menus or drinks list, 3 calls necessary to confirm each order)
Delay for each food order, in room or at the pool desk (more than 20 minutes)
Friday Brunch (300 aed/person) is to avoid absolutely and should not be called a Brunch (burgers, wings, calamary delivered 40 minutes after order, no starter, no sweets).
Swimming pool too small and 1,2m deep only, not suitable to adults nor to kids that are swimming around drinking and smoking adults...
Corridors very noisy at night due to staff utility rooms in front of the suite, and due to unrespectful guests discussing loudly up to 4h00 am without security intervention.
TV and multimedias not acceptable, no screen sharing, no netflix, no menu for room service...
I don't recommend this hotel for couple nor family.

Hi Gerald, First of all I would like to thank you for your feedback! Kindly find below our respond to your notes.. * Your booking was for a Savvy Suite and not rooms. * Breakfast setup is deferent because of the Covid-19 roles and regulation . * 20 minute for food order is a perfect timing. * The liquid Brunch price is 150 per person and we call it liquid brunch because its more in to beverages than food. * The TV set up is the latest setup which allowing you to share screen and watch the Netflix at the TV. Once more thank you for your feed back

This stay was meant to be a kind of relaxation trip to the oasis of Al Ain, however in the end it was just horror!
The check in was pretty smooth with friendly staff, so I expected all to be good despite a rather unpleasant experience back in December 2019. At that time I was promised a very nice upgrade for my next stay and since I always give a second chance, I gave it a try. But taraaaa ... the upgrade was greatly missed! Ok, it is not the end of the world but it says a lot.
After checking in to my room, I headed to the rooftop bar to enjoy a drink I saw a very packed venue (no social distancing no masks at all!!) so I decided to sit outside. After 20 minutes no waiter had shown up to take my order and the « manager » was very busy just giving directions, directions for sure never learnt at a hospitality school. After a while I decided to call the hotel's land line in order to make myself « considered ». 5 minutes later the manager on duty showed up giving another set of instructions to the bar manager and left the scene. After another 20 minutes of waiting without any success, I just decided to leave the bar and went for a sleep.
At around midnight I was woken up by some party people who decided to turn their room into a discotheque! After 3 calls to the security with the kind request to stop this situation I decided to pack up and leave the hotel in the middle of the night. Despite my above feedback to Aloft's regular stay questionnaire, I am waiting for more than 2 weeks now for any kind of return but I believe that very soon you can read a blablabla comment here below. What can I say, Aloft Al Ain, do not expect to be treated as a Gueast! For me, just NEVER AGAIN.

got a chance to stay at Aloft, rooms were noisy, even you can hear people staying next to your room, doors were banging. Pretty average housekeeping services, Housekeeping staff mistakenly took away personal item while cleaning, Informed to them multiple times and tried till my checkout to get it back but housekeeping and F&B staff at restaurant have very poor coordination and kept me waiting 40 odd minutes in lobby. Finally I left without it. Not going there next time.

I am so delighted to have stayed in Aloft Hotel in Al Ain for a month. The staffs were all nice, friendly, accommodating and I didn't have any fear of leaving my things in the room coz I know all of them are honest. The resto staffs namely Sharmi, Nancy, Delomi and the rest of the staffs were all nice, they listen to what I request and need. I would definitely go back to Al Ain Aloft the next time I will get to travel back in UAE. I would definitely recommend travelers/ visitors to stay in Aloft Al Ain.

Really comfortable room, spacious and full of everything we needed. Staff were friendly and always welcoming and happy to help. Food was lovely, breakfast was plentiful and freshly cooked items available.
The pool was clean, beds were comfortable, however, the towels were threadbare and often damp when handed out.
The only downside was the large number of young children under the age of 7 who were allowed into breakfast without parents. They were using the coffee machine unsupervised and on one morning an unsupervised child badly scalded their hand. The same was in the pool, very few parents present but a lot of children in pool. The lifeguards did amazing jobs supervising them but I’m sure parents should have been present.

I concur with both Sportye and Gus. It is centrally located to many stores, restaurants, malls, etc. and as was mentioned is approx 20 min to Jebel Hafeet.
I've never stayed in the hotel personally, only dine there from time to time.
Hope you enjoy your stay!
