I would like to express my gratitude for a short but comfortable stay I had at Ayla Grand Hotel. We had delicious breakfast at Nara Restaurant (recommended) we appreciate the precautionary measures there and at the property as a whole. Would suggest they give safety kits upon arrival 🙂 Kuddos also to Alvin the lifeguard for being proactive in interacting with guests, very helpful and ensures everyone is taken care of. Jamal from concierge also was friendly and nice. Thanks Meryam from FO for the free upgrade, I asked for the late checkout but unfortunately it was not available since you were on full occupancy which I understood. I loved the sunrise view from my room. Everything was smooth even when it comes to requesting things we need from Housekeeping and in room dining. Will be back for sure. Happy holidays to everyone in your property ☺️

I stayed at the Ayla Grand Hotel from the 17-19th October 2020 with my fellow friend for a special occasion. I have to say that overall, the hotel was lovely to stay in. However, there were various issues that we did not expect from a 5* hotel and left us feeling disappointed.
Every morning, the hot food that we had was extremely cold; such as the hash browns, pancakes, waffles and scrambled eggs. When asking on the 19th October whether fresh pancakes could be please made, I was told that this was not possible despite the breakfast area being very quiet. Due to this, we decided not to eat the hot food as it was cold and had cereal/pastries.
The other issue we had on the 19th October was that we got up early to go to breakfast and then head to the pool. When we arrived at the pool for 9:30am, there were four sunbeds with towels on but no one sat there. When I asked the lifeguard why this was, he said that the people have reserved the beds and gone to breakfast. I did not expect this behaviour from a 5* hotel. The ladies did not return to the pool until 12:15pm. The lifeguard said he is in charge of the pool area and he is making everyone happy. The lifeguard eventually found a spare bed and put it in front of the steps heading towards the Cafe. I do not believe that beds should be able to be reserved according to which life guard is on. The beds were not used from 9:30am in the morning until 12:15pm in the afternoon.
The final issue we had was on the 19th October, our final day by the pool. After 12pm very loud rave music started to play, it was so loud that my friend was unable to continue reading her book. We asked the lifeguard on duty whether the music was the hotels and he said that it was and he can't do anything to help us since management play the music and choose the songs. We then found out that in fact, it was a lady by the pool that had requested the music. The lifeguard was aware of this and eventually said to us that we could request our own music as he wants everyone to be happy. I do not believe that song requests should be made in a 5* hotel as every guest has their own song preference. There should be a standard song playlist if music is going to be played. The lifeguard was extremely unhelpful and found the situation rather amusing. The issue was addressed by a manager but affected mine and my friend's last hour by the pool.
I have not had a response regarding the above issues from the hotel.

We stopped here for three nights on our 6p family roadtrip around UAE. The hotel itself was superb, at least when staying in a three bedroom suite which was still reasonably priced - exceptionally I booked directly. BUT:
I can not give five stars to a dry hotel. it is the management and owners choice to not serve any alcohol, and it is my choice to reduce one star from that. Another star vanishes due to the stupid regulation not to allow minors under 18yo to use the saunas and jacuzzi "because of health reasons". This was particularly annoying as I was travelling with all my 4 sons, and one of them was underaged AND being from Finland we have two saunas (which Finnish babies usually start enjoying short times already before their first birthday) and a jacuzzi at home. They said they can not make an exception even if I take all the liability because it is "dictated in the license given by the government". Well, please discuss with the government to give you the possibility to families to go to sauna and jacuzzi together if they take responsibility of it. This time, we others used the sauna (which was proper, ie. hot and with permission to throw "löyly" ie. water on the stove), steam sauna and jacuzzi while the kid brother used shower and pool...
Apart from that another strange thing was the lighting system which supposedly was very advanced, but having the hall and corridor lights occasionally switch on on their own in the middle of the night was a little eerie experience. Location is good, and the rooms silent. So anyways, if there are no minors or thirsty adults in your group this is a good choice for you!

I have booked 2 rooms online for only one night through trusted hotel booking website (Tajawal) for my senior parents and my wife to attend a wedding. I surprised that my prepaid booking wasn't valid saying the hotel didn't recieve the confirmation from the website and each party blaming other, for more than 3 hours waiting in the lobby destressed with my 16 months daughter trying to find solution with a careless staff. Last I used to repay for high rate room as AED800 each to spend this night with check in at 6pm.
further I asked gently the reception to exted my checkout next day they refused after a further discussions they allow to 1pm only saying the hotel is full !!!!!!
actually it was my worst hotel stay experiace I ever faced with my family.

When we made the reservation by phone we asked about everything in detail. We reserved deluxe two bedroom suite for us (2 adults and 2 kids, 10 and 8). Breakfast wasn't included in the reservation so the employee said adults will pay 69 AED and kids below 12 are free.
This was changed when we arrived and went to have breakfast in the morning. They said you must pay for the kids also except if they are below 6. But this wasn't the bad part of the story.
When we went to the reception to complain we found another employee and she confirmed what the restaurant said and I was angry so I said to hair I will cancel the the second night and will go to another hotel, surprisingly she asked me if I will checkout now or later after I come back from my meeting!!
More than that the manager wasn't there although it's 9.15 am, and when he arrived after few minutes he didn't show up in the reception and didn't solve the situation.
We went to our meeting without breakfast, we preferred to have breakfast in peace in another place.
The lesson I learned from all this, besides not coming to this hotel again, is never make a reservation by phone. If I don't have something written from the hotel I will not believe and information. Of course we can pay for our kids breakfast if anyone in the restaurant, reception or the manager said a nice word to us, but they didn't. We are not satisfied with the whole experience in this hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. We had a great night especialy during our dinner at Nara Restaurant with the help of Rosalie. She is very accommodating and offers drinks that we didn't even know was included in our dinner package. Very hygienic and polite. It was EID and there are lot of visitors with us, but we noticed that she was very attentive and makes sure everyone was assisted with what they need. What a wonderful staff with such hospitality in this time of pandemic. Will definitely go back and recommend to others.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Ayla grand hotel. We wanted to say special thank you to the lovely staff of Nara restaurant. The whole team made our stay memorable. We would like to mention few names- Ms. Julie, Mr. Tek, Mr. Vijay, Mr. Mohammed and Ms. Rahilya. Special thank you to Ms. Julie who was very tentative, kind and always smiley. She was paying a lot of attention to details (like memorizing our favorite food and offering it the next day). We are looking forward to come back here again. Few more things to mention about the hotel-They have great gym and spa service. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Hotel is in a great location.

This hotel is located at walking distance from the bus station ( 1,5 km) where we were warmly welcomed with a voucher with reduction to eat something by the pool. Rooms were nice and comfy. Breakfast buffet was really nice and big with lots of choice (warm and cold/hearty and healthy). A shame our one night stay was overshadowed by rain, which was exceptional but we enjoyed our stay! Recommended!

I actually don’t know. But I paid 250AED per night.
I advise you to do so because the mall is right across the hotel and you will have a variety of choices. Unless of course you’re going there for a business trip. Anyways the season is different now and you might get a better price now. Hope that was helpful.
