Detailed Reviews
I recently checked into the Asfar Resorts as a long term guest. I was looking for a 2 bed apartment to share with a colleague as we are working in Al Ain for a longer term contractual period. We wanted the ability to have cooking facilities, washing machine, wifi, lounge room etc without the hassle of having to furnish a place ourselves. It absolutely has suited all of our needs perfectly. After we moved in, we had a few small requests that needed tending to and everything was fixed the next day whilst we were at work. The service has been very impressive as is their attention to detail. The pool and gym are definitely practical for long term stays as well. We have yet to have any food in the restaurant, but I wanted to get the review up as there are very limited options for furnished places in Al Ain. This one is great value for money.

We stayed for one night only. The room was not as I expected, it was totally spacious, clean and comfortable room. Though the room was not fully sound proof, since we can hear all the door slamming, people walking & talking around the area.
Entire stay is good. I love the room facilities.
We can still recommend and come back for another staycation!

just returned on Monday from two amazing weeks at this hotel. from the moment we arrived the staff could not do enough for us,allowing us to check in early at 7am. apartment was spotless and very spacious we had a room with direct access to pool area and for the majority of our stay had the entire pool to ourselves. our room was cleaned daily and fresh fluffy white towels left and beds were fully changed every other day.kitchen was really well equipped and beds very comfy.the safer mall was a short walk away and was a good supermarket to stock up with.all staff were very helpful and polite and more than happy to help with anything you need.the surrounding area is very quiet just the local mosque is very close and call to prayer can be quite loud especially at 5am but we soon got used to this as its part of life in middle east. we would highly recommend a stay here and would love to return in future

This property is nicely located in the heart of Al Ain. It is a hotel-apartment, not a hotel, nor a ‘Resort’. You get an apartment (1-2-3 bedroom) with kitchen, living room, one or two bathrooms and a parking space.
Everything is spacious and very clean. Tv with satellite etc. as well as a DVD player
Outside you have a nice pool area with a large temperature controlled pool. There is also a table tennis which was nice for the kids.
Next door is their restaurant. But I wouldn’t go back there. Very average and not good value for money.
There is a small grocery shop next door where you can buy basic groceries at very low prices.
Staff is very friendly and helpful.

+1
In fact almost everything from the check in to check out, it was a nice & comfortable experience to be in asfer resort.
The location is very peaceful yet easy to reach.
across the road is safeer mall, good for daily use items as well as gifts shopping.
-------
It is an apartment accommodation with a very good privacy, including the options for 1 bedroom suite and 2 bedroom suite.
We have booked 1 bedroom suite.
--------
I liked the idea of reserved parking with your apartment number. feels like home.
--------
It was quite spacious.
On entrance, in front there is large sitting/dining/tv lounge. the back door of that opens in terrace which is facing the pool area and garden. nice view really.
---------
on the left from entrance, starts a corridor which has on first left a kitchen, equipped with crockery, cutlery, all of cooking and baking tools, microwave, cooker with baking/grill options.
Only thing we missed very much is salt and pepper pot, please put it too. otherwise complete kitchen with all nice equipments.
--------
next left is first washroom which was clean and full range of good toiletries, even tooth brush and comb was provided, if you forgot yours.
washroom contains a small bath area with shower.
--------
next to it on right side, bedroom with an option to choose from 2 single beds or 1 double bed.
The room's window opens in the terrace, with view of pool and garden area. bed was good quality and clean.
--------
next to it on left there is a small store type area, which is equipped with ironing facilities + washing machine.
in front there is another washroom with a bathtub in it. it was also dry, clean and tidy.
-------
- It is written as non- smoking for all over the area but my mom again and again bothered by smoking smell.
- I have included the breakfast in my booking.com purchase but next morning I came to know that we cannot get our breakfast served at room, I have to go to resturant to do breakfast, timings of serving was 6am to 10 am, my mom was sleeping and I have to leave for my work, so I dropped the idea and made my own simple breakfast for both than left for my task. Second day we both slept late and wake up after 10am, so no advantage. On checkout they told me that although they cannot refund my amount payed for breakfast but the reception kindly offered to go and eat/take away for the same amount in restaurant.
- TV channels are not relevant to our interests. this thing bored us, but compensated by a very good wifi facilities, we used our laptop for our favorite channels online.
-------
Overall comfortable and family friendly private accommodation.
The food quality and prices at attached restaurant is also appreciable.
Reception, hotel and restaurant staff all friendly + respecting.

Asfar resort was a fantastic experience for me and my family. Its spacious apartments and the family friendly atmosphere including swimming pool and kids play area was very memorable. The staff and management are so friendly and took care of us personally with attention. We were so fond of the non commercial atmosphere, rather very boutique style experience.

BEWARE!!!
This hotel will debit your credit card in Euros and not Dirham prior to your departure. They are supposed to give you a choice but they don't even tell you. It is too late before you realise.
The hotel is not bad. The service in the restaurant is very bad. If you insist on going here just make sure you don't get cheated with the exchange rate.
