Amid the timeless golden dunes, gritty, grainy sands, and spiritual desert-scape of Abu Dhabi lies the mountainous range of Jebel HafIt, a place that summons adventurers, explorers, trekkers, and venturers. Ideal for those smitten in wanderlust, the Pura eco-retreat in Jebel Hafit is a jewel nestled amidst the vast mountain range. Inspired by the surrounding landscape, the desert retreat features rustic tents, spherical domes and orbicular bubbles. Occupying a nine-kilometer stretch at the base of the craggy Jebel Hafit mountain, Abu Dhabi’s tallest peak, visitors can explore the family-friendly park’s majestic natural surroundings on a hike, mountain bike, horse or camel and discover fascinating archaeological and historical remains that tell enchanting stories of this unique area’s ancient habitation. Archaeological remains include remnants of the Neolithic period from 8,000 years ago, to the 5,000-year-old Jebel Hafit Tombs excavated in 1959 at the request of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Founding Father of the United Arab Emirates.

**Jebel Hafeet Pura Eco Resort: A Luxurious Desert Escape** My recent stay at the Jebel Hafeet Pura Eco Resort was an unforgettable experience. I stayed in one of the Heritage tents, which are beautifully decorated and offer stunning views of the surrounding desert landscape. The tent was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed, including a king-size bed, air conditioning, and a private bathroom. One evening, the power went out in the Heritage tent area. The hotel staff was quick to respond and offered to move us to one of their luxury tents free of charge. Hassan, Qamar, and Adil were especially helpful during this time, and they made sure that we were comfortable and well-cared for. We were upgraded to a Sky Bubble tent, which is a truly unique and luxurious experience. The tent has a transparent ceiling, so you can fall asleep under the stars. It also has a private deck with a jacuzzi and sun loungers. Despite the power outage, we had an amazing time at Jebel Hafeet Pura Eco Resort. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and they go out of their way to make sure that their guests have a memorable stay. The food is also excellent, and the resort offers a variety of activities and amenities to keep guests entertained. I highly recommend Jebel Hafeet Pura Eco Resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable desert experience. The Heritage tents are amazing, but the Sky Bubble tents are truly something special. And the staff is simply the best. **Special thanks to Hassan, Qamar, and Adil for making our stay so wonderful!**…

Noman was incredibly helpful and friendly whilst on our stay there, his service was excellent. The same goes from the very helpful staff who help with the queries from the room- had quite a few questions and they were very prompt, helpful and accommodating with our requests. The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean- we stayed in a sky bubble. The food really exceeded our expectations and was absolutely delicious and a really high standard/quality. Would definitely return. Thank you so much for our stay!

A nice escape from Abu Dhabi and only 2 hours away, Pura Eco Retreat was so much fun for us and our visitors from the US. Camel rides, bike rentals, hiking, amazing food and a bonfire to warm up on cooler evenings made our stay unforgettable. Great value also.

Highlight of our winter vacation in the UAE! Excellent service from the staff including Ram and his team. The Skylight Dome provides you with all the comforts of a modern hotel. If you want to get away from the skyscrapers of Dubai and immerse yourself in nature - this is the place for you and your family. We went as a group of 10 adults and 7 children aged eight and below. There was something for everyone. We bonded over bonfires at night and woke up to the view of the majestic mountain in the day. Children and adults can spend hours outside in nature. Highly recommend taking the half-board package so you needn't worry about breakfast and dinner. Food is yummy too by a Moroccan chef. All in all an unforgettable experience and a must-visit when in the UAE.

Beautiful, quiet and clean location with fantastic service and food. You can bring your own camping extras or use the Pura resources for a fee. The first wood provided is free and each additional bundle is AED 50. A few water bottles, very strong WiFi, small refrigerators, and air conditioning is in each room. Bathrooms for the heritage tents are public but very clean and nearby. Recommend to bring extra water, camping chairs and blankets for bonfire. We brought our own marshmallows and roasting forks too. The hiking around the facility is amazing!!! Our kids (age 10 & 12) had a great time running around and climbing. It’s spread out enough that you really get some peace and quiet even when full of guests. Good can be eaten at the main restaurant or delivered for no extra charge to the tent. The food is very good!! Everyone is eager to help and make your stay perfect. Highly highly recommend.…
