Our stay here was part of a packaged tour. Beautiful resort & grounds. Many amenities to keep you entertained specially for families. Olympic size swimming pool. Indoor/outdoor gym. Professional & cordial staff.

Fantastic buffet both breakfast & dinner. Most memorable to me is the incredible spread & selection of middle eastern desserts & juice bar. All these after dinner sugar-high requires a nice hot cup of something to flush it down with. We all ordered tea but unbeknownst, they charged us $29 "per person" for cup of tea (ridiculous rip off for hot water & a tea bag)!!! Needless to say, big shock surprise to get that bill afterwards. Not even Starbucks charges that on their most expensive offering. Lessons learned: just eat what is served & don't order anything else from the menu.

Nice fancy hotel but lacking in maintenance: in our spacious huge bedroom with comfy beds & exquisite bathroom, tub was clogged, shower was moldy, carpet/many stains need to be shampooed, door to balcony was broken. I think our room needed to be refreshed or in need of renovation, but desperately needed attention in cleaning and maintenance. Either that or short staffed.

The rooms are paid attention with daily attention plus clear direction in case you wish bedsheets cleaned. The amenities are in working condition. The meals are carefully selected to take care of the different tastes. I like their sea food menus and their presentation on Fridays.

The receptionist who assisted us was very helpful, providing all the information we needed. At Arabesque restaurant, where we had both breakfast and dinner, the food was satisfying, with a wide variety of options mainly focused on Arabic cuisine. I would say the experience exceeded our expectations, offering more value than what we paid for. After dinner, we relaxed on the outdoor patio, which features private rooms for shisha, and enjoyed live music from a talented singer.

Later in the evening, we spent some time at McGettigan's for a beer and cocktails. Since I don't drink much alcohol, Michelle, one of the staff, recommended and personally crafted a great cocktail for me. She was very accommodating and responsive to our requests throughout the night.

The next morning, after breakfast, we took a dip in the pool. Although the main adult pool was under renovation, we swam in the pool next to the children's area. The pool's depth was safe for both swimmers and non-swimmers. A nice touch was the poolside bar, where you could grab refreshments without leaving the water. Keannu, the waiter and bartender, helped us choose the best drinks.

Overall, the staff were very accommodating, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. We left as very satisfied customers. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

Today and yesterday (16 and 17 June 2024) I with my family had the pleasure of dining at your esteemed establishment and wanted to share my experience with you.

Firstly, I must commend the ambiance and the service, which were both exceptional and truly befitting a five-star restaurant.

However, I regret to inform you that there were a few areas where the experience fell short of expectations.

During our visit, the portions served were insufficient for all the guests.
I arrived at dinning area at 8:30 by then a dish like Quz with meat was over and was not refilled same with few desserts (sorry I do not remember the name, though I mentioned it to chef and duty manger).

This led to some disappointment as we were expecting more generous servings, especially given the reputation and pricing of your restaurant.

Additionally, while most of the dishes were delightful, there were a few that did not meet the high-quality standards we anticipated. In particular, [Kunaffah taste was bitter, okra sambar was hard, chapati- it was too hard] lacked the flavor and presentation we were looking forward to.
Serve less dishes but quality one as the charge against it is huge.

I hope this feedback is taken constructively as it is intended. We enjoyed many aspects of our visit and may return in the future with the hope that these issues will be addressed.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Dear Salim, Thank you for taking the time to share your recent dining experience at Al Ain Danat on June 16th and 17th, 2024. We are thrilled that you found the ambiance and service to be exceptional, as you would expect from a five-star establishment. We sincerely apologize that the portions served fell short of your expectations, particularly for dishes like the Quz with meat and some desserts. We understand how disappointing this must have been, especially considering the reputation and pricing of our restaurant. We will be reviewing inventory management and refilling procedures to ensure all dishes are available throughout the dinner service. We appreciate your feedback regarding the quality of specific dishes. We take pride in using high-quality ingredients and expect all our dishes to meet the highest standards. We will be sharing your comments with our chefs to investigate the cause of these issues and ensure they are addressed. Your suggestion to offer fewer but higher quality dishes is valuable, and we will take it into consideration when developing our menus. Thank you for your constructive feedback. We hope you will give us another chance to provide you with an exceptional dining experience in the future. Perhaps on your next visit, we can offer you a complimentary dessert or appetizer to show our appreciation. We are all looking forward to the pleasure of welcoming you again at Danat Al Ain Resort in the near future. Thank you and kind regards, Tarek Elias General Manager Danat Al Ain Resort

The stay started poorly with a long check in and a cold unwelcoming exchange at the front desk. It was all business and admin and I even had to ask myself about dining options in the resort and pool timings.
We came as a family to enjoy a holiday here between Christmas and New Year, and had a suite with kitchen as one of our rooms. Unfortunately a kitchen here that has a stove and oven doesn’t even provide a plate, fork or glass. We had to ask reception countless times to furnish the kitchen but the message kept falling on deaf ears.
By day 2 I spent an hour explaining to the Operations Manager how we had been let down, but that took another hour before some bowls were brought up with some cutlery.
Breakfast is decent for 50 aed pp, but expect to pay on top for a luxury like a cappuccino.
Dinner at the buffet restaurant is entirely negotiable, the manager isn’t particularly pleasant and told me to ask reception for a better discount.
It is a shame that a wonderful hotel with good amenities is let down by poor management and a lack of customer service. It may be cheaper than the other resorts in Al Ain but I would rather pay a little more and stay somewhere I feel the staff actually want you there.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for your review of Danat Al Ain Resort. We sincerely apologize that your recent stay fell short of your expectations, particularly regarding the check-in experience, lack of basic kitchen supplies, and issues with responsiveness from our team. We understand your frustration with the long wait at check-in and the lack of information provided about dining options and pool timings. This is not the standard of service we strive to deliver, and we will be reviewing our check-in procedures to ensure guests receive a warm welcome with all necessary information readily available. We deeply regret the inconvenience caused by the unfurnished kitchen in your suite. A fully equipped kitchen, including basic crockery and cutlery, is an essential part of the suite experience. There is no excuse for the repeated requests going unanswered, and we apologize for the frustration this caused. Regarding breakfast pricing and cappuccino availability, we will review our pricing structure and communication to ensure clarity for guests. Breakfast should be a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and we apologize if this was not the case for you. We are disappointed to hear about your experience at the buffet restaurant, particularly the manager's response to your request for a discount. We take guest feedback seriously, and we will be addressing this matter with the restaurant manager to ensure all guests feel valued and receive excellent service. We appreciate your acknowledgment of our good amenities It is a true shame that shortcomings in service detracted from your overall experience. We understand your preference to pay more for a resort with a stronger focus on customer care, and we respect your decision. However, we hope you'll consider giving Danat Al Ain Resort another chance in the future. We are committed to improving our guest experience, and your feedback is instrumental in helping us achieve that goal. Sincerely, Tarek Elias General Manager Danat Al Ain Resort

Danat Al Ain is a highly recommended resort in the region which is ideal for a short stay for 1 or 2 nights with friends and family .
Staffs are highly professional- Mr Erwin from reception who helped us with the check in was very helpful .
Book a room with pool + nature view on top most floor and that will be worth the money you spend.
Rooms are spacious .
Room service and housekeeping staff are very fast in deliver on whatever you request.
Recreation area has a lap pool and the main pool .unfortunately the water fall in the main pool operates only on weekends or on busy days I suppose.
They also have indoor activities to keep people of all age group engaged.
Will definitely visit again when ever I get another opportunity.
