Detailed Reviews
A group family trip was planned months and months ago at this property, all very excited at being together, looking forward to a week of relaxation and fun. Turned out to be anything.
We booked 3 villas as we were traveling with extended family. Rooms were not all together which made traveling as a family a bit pointless. So there was no reason not to anticipate the rooms needed to be TOGETHER… :(
The hotel is located in a such a place where you wont find anything near by. Rooms are small and dimly little…. The overall stay was satisfactory and not very exciting.
The property, the swim pool, the restaurants, the bar and all other facilities are just perfect.
The hotel staff are excellent with everyone from the manager to the maintenance staff always smiling and saying hello.
Salut to Annabelle, Special thanks to Arun

I went to the restaurant of the One to One Hotel with friends at their suggestion. It was my thank you meal for putting up with me for a week. It was a Saturday night and the restaurant was empty save for two men having a great time at the bar. There was one member of staff on duty that we could see. The restaurant should be a food event, but this was something of a food mistake. The prices are typical of hotel restaurants. The choice was basic fare, with quite a bit of Arabic and Indian choices. As often happens when I order fish in the UAE, everything I wanted wasn't available. It was another one of those restaurant visits when I wanted to say 'instead of asking me what I would like from your extensive menu, why don't you tell me what you've actually got'. I had fish, but it was nothing to write home about. My friends, who don't really drink wine, encouraged me to have a glass. This is a WARNING to anyone who goes to the restaurant and decides to have a glass of wine, rather than a whole bottle. Luckily I went to the bar to order the wine, because our one server disappeared after taking our order. When he eventually arrived, he offered me a glass of white wine from an opened bottle taken from the fridge. I asked when it had been opened, and he was vague to say the least. Then he offered me a different opened bottle of wine. Again, he couldn't be precise about when the bottle had been opened. In the end, he offered to open a fresh bottle and I was happy to agree to that. My warning is because, as I'm sure you know, wine shouldn't be drunk after it has been open for a certain length of time. I'm not sure exactly, but I've heard that red wine is OK for about 3 days and then there are toxins/bacteria that you are better off without. I'd rather avoid a stomach bug while in Al Ain. Just thought I'd raise this for everyone. Salut.

Families/Bachelors already having or staying in villas will not enjoy this OnetoOne villa hotel stay
We went with 4 families ,for a day out to stay in OnetoOne hotel, sharing 2 bedroom villas. The hotel and related amenities was built in such a way to give best for the customers, but now due to poor or irregular maintenance, the place around and the building is very dusty , not clean or not that great. Just to get a better view listing down my experience as pros and cons.
Pros:
1) Villa is quiet clean. Stay is good for those need privacy, but preferably during winter.
2) Barbeque is possible.
3) Can order food from restaurant.
4) Swimming pool/Gym/Sauna is good.
5) Short travel by train is good
6) If choosing to stay do the booking online and then proceed or else it will be unnesserly expensive.
Cons:
1) Main difficulty we faced is hotel restaurants, swimming pools are not nearby, we need to go by car, from the villa.
2) There is no privacy if 2 families choosing 2 bedroom villa as there is no lock for bedrooms- when checked with the management they said its built is such a way, and they do not provide lock for bedrooms.
3) Restaurant food is not that great
4) Surroundings are pathetic
5) Boating is not that great.
6) Bathroom is common for 2 bedroom villas
7) Hot water flow is not regular
8) Villa rooms we took was dusty, when asked to clean as we aere having kids, the management response was they do not clean, when we checkin, they only clean the next day.
9) Not good to stay during summer.
10) Pathetic Kids play area
Overall, not good for families already staying in villa, not having own vehicle, families sharing 2 bedroom villa. Bachelors and new couples may enjoy, as the villas are having enough privacy, if single bed room villa is taken.

Dont get fooled by the pictures they have put.
If you are only looking for a place to sleep, there are better hotels to find.
The mistake O made is I booked in last minute and didnot go through the reviews.
The worst hotel I have stayed in my life.
Its just a very old hotel with nothing. When I say I literally mean nothing.
No play area for kids.
The pool is disgusting . And the rooms had mosquitos and insects
Also the bathroom sink was clogged and drainage blocked.
Me and my wife didnot even take a shower.

The reception staff are friendly. Good location, easy to park, nice garden and nice view at Jebel Hafeet. The Villa looks nice from the outside but everything looks very old and poor from the inside (floor, wall, toilet, doors, furniture, curtains, fridge, TV etc...) the villa is not maintained at all... AC is very loud in both rooms (2 bed Room Villa) All the villas need extreme renovation.

I had a great time at the resort, the staff is extremely courteous, helpful and accommodate your needs as and when you ask them for assistance. I would like to thank you the manager of the hotel who is very caring and considerate of the guests at the hotel; she ensures every guest is individually asked if they are having a pleasant stay. Also, the manager was very kind enough to invite me and my friend to the Christmas tree launch event which was very well organized and truly entertaining. It is lovely to see how the hotel makes an extra extra effort to ensure its customers are satisfied. I would totally recommend this place because it gives you a home-like feeling. Also, the location is ideal! I have tried the food at the two restaurants they are excellent! Plus there is free gym for guests who get driven all the way to the gym for free! Great value for money! Plus there are villas too!

Can't believe this place is open.
Nothing appears to be finished properly walkways, pavements, flower beds etc.
Extremely disappointed.
Stayed in a villa on the side facing the 'canal'.
the promenade was derilict, debris everywhere, smashed lights, broken glass on the walkway. Some dangerous areas if small children are running around.
had to drive to any facilities which was awkward.
Rooms are old, dirty, tired.
No instruction booklet, mini bar not filled, no hand towels.
Air con- old fashioned, extremely noisy, kept us up most of the night.
Pool area- dirty, no view or vista, water had some litter/ hair floating in it.
I think this place just needs a MASSIVE renovation.
I did inform the staff about my concerns and i was handled well.
I was informed that perhaps I should try one of the other rooms, and my complaints were re. Aesthetics however sadly I feel this place needs more than an aesthetic overhaul!
On the positive side, al ain was great. very close to the wadi adventure and villa was huge.
Most staff we found to be friendly.
Sadly I would never stay here again. Certainly not in the villas anyway. 4*????

Fantastic hotel, the huge territory, beautiful gardens, river, the lake with ducks,a ponytail, playground for childrens. We lived on villas with two bedroom.Purely, conveniently, there is a teapot, tea set, dressing gowns, all accessories.Separate gratitude to employees reception and front-manager.Have prolonged the check-out for 2 hours without problems. It is desirably to come by the car as the territory huge, and also 10 min driving hot springs. We recommend this hotel for accommodation.
