Welcoming staffs, comfortable and fun stay. I’m happy we booked here for my husband’s 5days duty in Al Ain. We had a quiet and relaxing stay. Most of the time I was just staying at our room. The housekeeping was very good, they will check in early evening if you need anything in case your room was not cleaned in daytime.

Al ain Rotana all inclusive stay
Warm welcoming staff greeted us at the door our luggage was taken from us while we checked it and again greeted with friendly helpful staff.
Our room was nice it's an older hotel so bathrooms and rooms are older styled but spacious and extremely clean with everything we needed.
The pool has the nicest staff that really went above and beyond on our stay making sure we always had drinks and that any food we ordered was prompt and was always served hot and delicious we tried Nachos, tempura prawns, pizza, caesar salad, the fruit platter & the curly fries everything was really nice and portions are big.
For our evening meal we chose the Lebanese restaurant on the 1st night and the food was delicious perfectly cooked and served on it's own charcoal filled mini grill that kept everything hot and sizzling we enjoyed it so much we chose to eat there again on our second night and had the exact same food lamb grill for my husband chic tikka ( shish tawook) for me served with hummus garlic paste and lots of freshly baked bread so yummy.
Breakfast is buffet style with staff helping to serve due to carona restrictions and social distancing with coffee and juices brought to your table all very nice with lots of options we had omelettes that were made to order then added beans, mushrooms and hash browns from the buffet followed by fruit salad, waffles & cinabon.
Every member of staff we came across was lovely friendly and helpful, but big shout out to our friendly staff from the pool Haitham,
Gedie & Sony they really went above and beyond making our stay perfect and also appeared at night helping with recommendations & serving in Min Zaman the Lebanese restaurant.
The lifeguards at the pool do a fantastic job all interacting and reasoning with kids and adults alike as to why rules where in place and it was all done with smiles and patience that was commendable.
It was our 1st visit to Al ain rotana but it wont be our last and we will be recommending to friends and also anyone else that asks thank you we've had the best 3 days in a long long time
Thank you Al ain Rotana

I have stayed with family in a two bedroom chalet (502). The check-in on 20 December and check-out on 21 December was hassle free. Immediately after checking in, we found the balconies were not cleaned after the previous usage, with cigarette ashtray was full of ash and cigarette butts! It was reported and immediately they arrange a staff to clean; but this experience make us doubtful about the overall cleanliness standard expected from a hotel of reputation. Later Mr. Saeed, from the front desk, offered us discounted dinners or late checkout to compensate the issue, but was not availed.
The breakfast was based on set menu, that is acceptable in view of the current pandemic situation, but the restaurant staff were not polite or service oriented. When we entered the person at the desk gave a blunt look, as if we were not expected. The cooking area, was manned by two chefs at that time, and both stared at us as if we were there for a free meal (our package was with breakfast). Mr. Faisal, the person who served us breakfast was the only exception; he was very polite, cooperative and courteous.
We took the Chalet, in order that kids can enjoy the pool and poolside, but to our dismay at 10 AM in the morning, 70% of the pool was taken over by a group for swimming training. They were presumably not affiliated to the hotel and were very rude and adamant.
The stay was not pleasant at all.

Booked falaj studio for 2 nights on 1st December 2020. Check in was smooth & it ends there.
The house keeping is pathetic. They just have 2 towels, limited supply of tea/ coffee, water & disposable cups. Have being calling them from morning (4 calls done already) on the second day asking them to clean my room but no one bothered to check till now.... to clean the room or refill the bathroom & other supplies. Wonder how they got 5* !!!
My advice to anyone booking a room in Al Rotana would be to come equipped with your own towels, tea, coffee, glass, etc

My wife and I stayed at the Rotana Al Ain this weekend and couldn’t have had a better staycation! The hotel is situated a 5 minute walk from the fort and a 5 minute drive to the Al Ain Oasis, which is really convenient for tourists aswell as residents wanting to explore more. The grounds are big and the interior is clean, modern and maintained well.
Â
The check in process was smooth and we were impressed with how little time it took to get us to our room, we were more impressed that the check in was all done from a safe distance due to the current pandemic - highly impressive.
Â
We stayed in one of the suites in the Falaj wing. We had a master bedroom, a living room with dining area and all the mod-cons you could ask for. We were taken there by golf buggy, it took around 3 minutes to get to the separate entrance. The suite was spacious and had modern décor with a large private balcony overlooking the private pool area for suite guests only.
Â
With two pools to choose from, one more private, the other next to the restaurant, we had a good choice and could remain on our own if we wanted to. We particularly enjoyed the suite pool which was really quiet and you felt really secluded.
Â
We ate Trader Vic’s both nights and were impressed with the high quality of food, customer service and atmosphere. The food was some the best we’ve eaten and they catered well for my wife’s dairy allergy. The music was at a perfect level, waiters knew exactly how long to chat to use for, we were introduced to the chef and the other guests were reminded to be socially distant and wear masks by security.
Â
We slept so well both nights, the bed was a good size and super comfy and the room had all the amenities you would expect and if we requested anything else we called and it was delivered to us promptly. Breakfast was delivered to your table on request and the menu, which would usually be a buffet, had a substantial choice – even catering to my specific dietary requirements and bringing more food if we wanted.
Â
I wouldn’t think about staying anywhere else after such a good stay. We will be back!

Christmas at Alain Rotana was a fun experience considering I am always at Grand Mercure so decided to give it a try. The property has a wonderful feel to it, n our time spent at Trader Vic's was lovely with the staff being extremely courteous n accommodating. The 2 bedroom villa was overpriced for the quality/price n the shower cubicle was a disaster with consistent flooding. I would still recommend the property simply cause I believe the management and staff would definitely attend to my complaints if I had voiced them.

Despite being rushed off their feet at this busy time, nearly all the stall put customers first perfectly. Having requested a specific suite a month ago, I was a little surprised to be told there would be a 45-60 minute wait for the room to be ready. Their safety policy, I think, is the best I've seen, so the wait is worth it. Unfortunately, it ended up being 90 minutes!
However, the rest was faultless. Cleaners to room service to the lifeguard (Christian) were wonderful, and being able to check out from the room is reassuring.
A bigger range on their room service menu would be nice, but all the meals were perfectly cooked, reasonably priced, and decent portions.
A wonderful escape. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in the Garden City!

Everything from checking in at the hotel was a problem. It was a 20 minute wait to check in to deal with miserable staff working on incredibly slow check in systems. The staff were completely unhelpful and offered no information about the hotel or area.
When i reached the room I had been give the opposite of the room requested (i.e. no feather bedding which i had stated on my resevation and called up in advance to confirm AND confirmed at check in). Took 3 hours to get the bedding changed and 6 phone calls.
The pool area was packed without enough loungers or seats for guests. Staff were indifferent and unapologetic for the lack of seating options.
The meal I ordered at the Aquarius pool bar is the worst meal I have been served in the UAE. The salad i ordered came in separate plastic boxes to be mixed up yourself with spinach leaves soaked excessively in soy sauce. The experience was barely edible but i was too hungry to wait another 30 mins for another meal. Again the staff were indifferent.
The wifi barely worked in the room but was reasonable in the lobby.
I avoided restaurants or trying to get anything resembling service for the rest of my stay.
Check out was as slow as check in. The charge to my credit card was also rounded up (as would need to be done with cash) without any warning.

This is not a 5 star hotel. We booked a 2 bed chalet for national day and a special birthday; however the rooms are dated, beds were hard, cleaning in the bathrooms was terrible with stray hair in the bathtub, yellow stains in the bath, black mould around the tub and the fridge smelt awful and didn’t work. The pool bar forgot the children’s drinks at dinner and the children’s food arrived after the adults. It’s not what you expect of a Rotana that we paid premium prices for. On the good side, the online checkin was easy and the pool was clean and ambient.

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights and the stay is very relaxing and enjoyable .All the staffs are very helpful and attentive to guest needs specially the front desk and valet service. I have made some special requests prior to our arrival and they granted all of my requests and gave us a very good room with a very good view. Pool temperature is controlled so we can comfortably swim even in the cold weather. Plenty of choices in their Breakfast buffet which is also very good. We will definitely be back again and recommend this hotel to our family and friends as well.

Dear Marbels85
The al Ain Rotana does have a wide selection of restaurants and leisure facilities. The hotel is a full service five star hotel, and numerous travel packages and options are available.
We do offer full board packages, as well as certain all inclusive options (seasonal). We do have first rate sports facilities and live musical entertainment in our restaurants.
Yet the hotel is not a classical all inclusive resort, such as your question may imply.
For exact details and available offers and packages, you will be able to find all required information on our rotana website.
I hope I was able to clarify your question and do sincerely hope you will choose us when you visit the beautiful garden city of Al Ain.
