It was our first stay but the resort was recommended by family. From the online booking until we checked out, we felt warmly welcome. We booked a one-bedroom villa which was just stunning as it was not only spacious but had a huge veranda including a gas fireplace. Since it was our anniversary, we booked a romantic dinner which was delivered to our room and set up on the veranda. Other amenities are a large pool area and one can do all kinds of activities such as wildlife safari (we were lucky and spotted a lot of Oryx antelopes), archery, sandboarding and many more. The staff is friendly and does their utmost to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We will certainly be back!

Beyond 5 stars! Stayed at this wonderful hotel. Everything exceeds ones wildest dream of a hotel (hotel in the desert). On top they have the most wonderful staff, extremely kind and helpful with every wish. This is indeed a place you do not want to leave, and when you do it is with one hope – to come back. Our stay was amazing , first with regards to the food of the restaurant ; the chef is very talented we had the best tum yum soup ever and all the food was tasty and delicious. The activities options were really good and the team are dedicated and so friendly and supportive. The check in and out was pretty easy and fast and the reception staff were helpful. The pool area had some nice stuff as well and the pool was clean and the activities available nearby are nice. The room was so nice and gets you in the mood of the bedouin houses with very nice area outdoor . The SPA staff were so nice , we had one of the best massages .The nature is a piece of art and the resort really did a good job .

Beautiful resort, we have truly enjoyed our 2 nights stay. Resort is beautifully located, with breathtaking views. We stayed in Gazelle villa, overlooking dunes, with big terrace and fireplace. Hundreds of gazelles walking freely all day long, variety of singing birds. You can truly enjoy nature, take long walks all over the resort. If you are tired of walking you can ask for one of many hotel SUVs to pick you up. Both swimming pools are beautiful and ideal for relax after waking up early in the morning to see sunrise from the observation point. Friendly stuff, ready all day long to assist you, just to name few: Hamza, Hasibur, Moaty, Arjiun- Thank you so much for making our stay special. We enjoyed sandboarding and camel riding. Had a nice ride around the entire resort with a buggy. Food is also very good, we ordered room service both nights and enjoyed it on the terrace.…

The telal resort is in the middle of the desert set up as a traditional heritage resort. It has beautiful wildlife with gazelles everywhere. We booked the room which was old but adequate enough nothing special. The villas I suppose look better. Being in the middle of the desert all common areas, balcony etc is covered with dust and sand sometimes getting into your food also. Great desert resort to enjoy the true desert experience. There was only one restaurant open and restaurant food was not great they could do a better job with food. Swimming pool is also just meant for lounging it’s small.

One of the best resort in the UAE. Amazing food, amazing staff and services. Lots of activities, very close to nature. Beautiful pools, both indoor and outdoor. Natural ponds and lots of animals and birds around you. The night sky is simply beautiful. Also, they had one of the best breakfast, it had a very good spread on items and all of them where near perfect and delicious, the veggies and fruits were super fresh, it was totally worth getting it.

We had the pleasure of staying there for two nights at a gazelle villa and we had a great time. The surroundings are awesome!!!! We could see gazelles and all sort of birds from our villa .The food and service are great.The resort is exceptional though the signs of time can be seen. The only thing I found not to be at the height of such an establishment is the fact that you have to pay for some activities ( giant chess, table tennis..) that in my opinion should have been offered to guests for free. All in all it has been a memorable experience

Design and location is great. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food quality is fine. Breakfast buffet very good. bathrooms a little bit dated in style but it’s Bedouin look of the rooms is very nice. Lots of activities offered ( falcons not in these warmer months anymore) Once checked in, staff guide you to the rooms with ur car as it’s separate area in the resort then no more allowed to use your car. Staff will always bring and collect you from the the rooms in hotel car or buggy’s

A delightful stay in the middle of the desert. Quiet and truly a desert escape. The staff are very welcoming. It was magic watching the Gazelle around the resort and room area. The pools are stunning looking out across the dunes. If you are looking for a truly get away from it all stay, this is is without the usual brunch and noisy trappings of other UAE resorts. The location of the room was really good, surrounded by sand dunes and gazelles with a fire pit. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Lots of choices for breakfast. I had room service on a number of occasions and the food was good. Not so good: The air con in the room was really noisy and the outside furniture could do with some repairs. There are activities but these are all an additional cost. Abu Dhabi is about an hour away and the resort can arrange taxis for anyone without transport.
