This is a beautiful and clean hotel. It is worth the price. Collins made the stay extra special by being so friendly and guiding us through the hotel. Felt like a proper staycation. Would definitely come back.

Hotel's Favourite
I stayed here with my wife and 2 children for 10 days in July/August for one of possibly the most relaxing breaks we have had in years... Hotel: lovely design, modern and relaxing. Fantastic layout with some really grand spaces. As an Architect I have to say this is one of the best designed places I have stayed at. Rooms: we stayed in a classic room and then a sea view villa. Both fantastic spaces with great decoration. I especially loved the ability to cast netflix/YouTube etc. from our phones to any of the screens. Plenty of water delivered every day and so well appointed generally. Lovely ambient smell also which makes a massive difference. Pool & Gym: Both areas had everything you would want, with the very chilled pool providing plenty of space to lounge alongside the swim up bar and separate, sheltered and shallow kids pool. The beach was also really close with plenty of sun beds available. A DJ played by the pool for a couple of hours each afternoon over the weekend which was great, with his chilled tunes providing a great backdrop to the daily sunset. The rest of the time, low volume ambient tunes played which gave the whole area a lovely relaxing vibe. Kids club: secure and free to use with no time limit as far as i was aware, and our kids (5 & 10) loved it so much. The staff there knew their names from go and welcomed them by name every day, giving us a couple of hours each afternoon to chill. Restaurants: all very different and all fantastic! Great, high quality food choice in Saffar every day, and it was always different. Someone else mentioned the kids food being poor in Saffar but that wasn't our experience at all. All inclusive: free alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks from midday at ShaSha the pool bar (until it closed at sundown) and from midday to close (10pm) in Saffar or on the terrace outside Saffar. Food was served in Saffar all day and I have to say the breakfast choice was spot on. There was a 120aed allowance for each meal in all other restaurants (Levant&Nar, NoHo) if you use them which covers the main course.. Drinks in these restaurants are chargeable... All inclusive is a fantastic option in my opinion and gives you exactly what you need. Shout outs to: Rahul, Limbu & especially Arkam in Saffar.. all of these guys are so personable and really made our dining experience each day exceptional. The hotel needs to retain these guys at all costs as for residents they are the friendly every day face of the resort. Arkam went on leave for a few days whilst we were there and our kids actually cried when they found out because they had got to know him so well.. Manish and Robin at the ShaSha. Both so helpful and friendly. Martin Hilton (Director of Recreation & Spa) a really lovely guy and always present and making sure our experience was as good as it could be..! I have to say the staff at this hotel are exceptional in every way, they really are.. from room service to front desk to concierge to excursions, everyone was doing their utmost to give us the absolute best experience and that means so much.. Thank you InterContinental RAK for giving is the best break, we will definitely be back!

Room was clean and good smelly. View from the room is wonderful. All restaurants are full with friendly staff even chef who was making egg, very friendly and helpful. When we enter the restaurant, always greeted by smiling faces. We loved the beach, white sand and lots of sun beds. In beach lifeguards are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the sunset view but unfortunately we had to leave the beach during sunset. But we understand this is all about safety. Pool is huge and attached with the Bar. Staff is very kind and friendly in pool area. There are some faces who made our stay more enjoyable especially Arkm in main restaurant, he is very kind and attentive, always made our day.

Beautiful resort, we were upgraded to a villa which amazing loved watching the turtles from the balcony and the staff are amazing a few mentions go to Terri who ran around chasing about scones (which she did not need to do), Rashan who makes the best latte with the prettiest leaves on and Ellie who is such a joy with her welcoming smile. Abbijith is one of the loveliest people always smiling and on hand if you need anything. Overall a lovely stay and a beautiful resort. Thank you for making us feel part of the family

We were really looking forward to trying out this new property and will definitely be back in future. First impression was fantastic - Hassan on the Front Desk greeted us personally and gave us a quick tour and recommendation for a specific room with fantastic views. This was greatly appreciated, and really made the stay memorable - thank you again. The new Club facility is terrific - lovely open/airy design, never feeling crowded or busy. Dhiraj and his amazing team made us feel extremely welcome and were always cheery, helpful and professional, whatever the time of day. Great food and drink options throughout the day, and was impressed that the (Belgian) head chef was proactively asking for any suggestions for improvements in future. Great gym/pool/beach/fitness facilities - we used these every day, and again extremely impressed by the staff. Always met by enthusiast, helpful individuals, led by Martin who was always fully of positive energy, friendly and a really great role model for his team. Fantastic meals at NoHo, Levant and Saffar - and enjoyed the wide selection of choices for breakfast at either the Club Lounge of Saffar. Overall, the location is so peaceful and clean, with amazing sunrises and sunsets. We frequently saw giant turtles, rays, beautiful shoals of fish and sharks breaching (far out at sea!). There was really nothing to fault - staff in all areas a credit to the hotel, and I imagine the area will continue to grow in popularity as more venues open in the area over the coming years. Only suggestions for improvement: - Introduce more dining offers and theme nights - Entertainment in the evening was lacking - Sha Sha pool bar seems to need more staff to deal with demand It's great to have another option in the UAE near the mountains and away from the busy city. Thanks again to all the great staff - we look forward to returning in future!
