We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days in and around Samarkand and a highlight each day was coming home to this lovely B&B located on a dusty side street not far from the spectacular Registan. The staff of Jahongir are very friendly, speak good English, and are always happy to help. The garden area near the breakfast tables is pleasant, though...

We were hosted late at evening and even get some discount after bargain. The hotel situated at the historical part of the city. Registan and the Supermarket quite close to the hotel. Clean rooms, quite and cozy yard, nice breakfast. What is important - working wi-fi!!!)))

First of all the location is very good - about 500 meters from Registan and within walking distance from other Samarkand main attractions (Gur Emir, Bibi Khanym and Shsh-i Zinda). Rooms are nice and clean breakfast is good. The owner is nice and helpful and speaks fluent English as well as his right arm employee. It also has a very...

Jahongir B&B is in an excellent location in the old city of Samarkand, 600 metres from the Registan and a short walking distance to other important sites including Shahi-i-Zinda mausoleums. The hotel has 2 main garden areas, one with day beds under vine trellises and the other in a central courtyard where a Uzbek breakfast is served. Either area is...

A very pleasant stay in a traditional property with a lovely courtyard, good value, clean, nice breakfast. Helpfulness of Zafar the owner made the trip. Nothing too much trouble. A bit difficult to find if you arrive after dark, so get taxi or ask for pick up.

The Jahongir bed and breakfast is located in a sort of run down not very charming but safe area but the B and B is excellent. The owner lived in Florida for some years and speaks excellent English and has a good idea of what tourists like. The rooms were charming, although the bed was a bit hard. The breakfasts...

Good location at walking distance of the Registan. We got a 4 bed room even though we're a couple, but more important it was clean. Very clean and got cleaned every day. The breakfast was good, the staff was very friendly. The manager tipped us on the new train connection between Tashkent and Andijan. Really can't find any negative point.

The hostel is well located, less than 1 km from the Registan. The garden, with few tables where you can spend nice moments, is the best thing of the place. The rooms are smelly, the cleanliness so and so... They have AC. The bathrooms are small, but with soap and towels. The night I spent there, the electricity was cut...

The worst of the 3 hotels I visited in Uzbekistan. Smelly, dark room, very small, no hairdryer. We couldn't set the air condition properly, only super hot or freezing. Neither could the receptionist. People in the hotel are very grumpy and lazy, cannot even say hello in the morning. Breakfast very medium, not a lot if you don't fancy plov....

Nice location within walking distance from Registan (and, an added boon, from the Registan supermarket). As with many other places we visited in Uzbekistan, the staff was the decisive factor: When we had to change our schedule on short notice, as well as when one of our party of three had issues with her room (see below), management reacted in...
