If you are wanting a really special experience, then stay here. We were lucky to get Room 208 which overlooks the street and while some reviewers have said it is noisy in the two rooms at the front of the hotel, this didn't worry us. We loved the wonderful atmosphere of this 200 year old hotel and enjoyed sitting on...

We enjoyed traveling from North to South in Vietnam but Hoi An and particularly this hotel were a highlight. The location is perfect in the middle of one of the main streets of the old town. Sitting on the dark wood balcony at 6.30 am watching the street wake up - the shop owner across the road bringing out his...

Vinh Hung offered a very pleasant stay for us. The location is right in the middle of Hoi An Old Town, the staff are very friendly, the service & free offers (like foot massage) are great, the room is clean & comfortable and the breakfast is super nice. I have nothing to complain about :)

We had 3 nights in Hoi An after a long trip from the south. Everything was beautiful, perfect to us. I and my partner enjoyed the hotel outlooking, it was like chinese town, a bit accient and warm! It was my birthday when we were there, my partner ordered a birthday cake for me and the hotel didn't add it...

An extraordinarily authentic and luxurious highlight on our fantastic holiday. The large rooms are so atmospheric and comfortable, the staff wonderful, the free dinner and daily breakfasts delicious and the location incredible. An absolute highlight and fantastic value for money.

The small hotel in the old town of Hoi An is elegance plus! We were lucky enough to have booked early and to get a street view room we spent our evenings enjoying sitting on the balcony (accessible by all guests) watching the life in the street. The staff were very friendly and helpful, room exceptionally comfortable, breakfast excellent. Take...

We stayed in several good 4 and 5 star hotels during our holiday in Vietnam but this was our favourite by some margin. With just 6 rooms in this heritage property and with friendly staff you soon feel like part of the family - particularly if you stay 5 nights as we did. Breakfast was excellent - the banana pancakes...

We stayed in 3 hotels in Danang - a 5* chain, a 4* beach resort and this hotel. For me, this was my favourite. It really was an experience (in a good way!) to stay here. This place is full of character and in a fantastic location in the centre of the Old Town and 2 minutes walk from the...

This is quite unlike any hotel you will have stayed in. A restored 200 year old wooden merchant's house it just exudes history. It was used as one of the sets in the Philip Noyce film of Graham Greene's The Quiet American starring Micheal Caine. Staying here you can easily feel transported back in time, with its creaking wooden floors...

This is the place to stay if you want a special experience in Hoi An, would have given 6 stars if I could. As others have described it's an old merchant's house beautifully converted with just six rooms, these houses are similar in layout with a street frontage, an inner open courtyard and rooms at the back. There are two...
