Warm welcome with owner providing information about the city, a map and some advice. The whole hotel is a bit old as well as the swimming pool, however the room was big. We paid 19$ for 2 for 1 night, and the location is really great. We did not try the breakfast. The room was clean but the bathroom has...

From the minute i walked in I was greeted with a big smile and friendly welcome. I was able to check in right away and was told that as soon as I was ready I could come downstairs and go through a map to find out any info I needed! I stayed in the dorm room on the top floor!...

Before coming to Hoian, i googled through almost all the booking websites possible: booking.com, agoda, tripadvisor. But the problem is that sometimes the reviews can be just of reference purposes, you can only judge a hotel when you see it with your own eyes. That is what i found with most hotels in hoi an, they are either poorer than...

I stayed here for 2nights and was absolutely happy with the room, breakfast, personnel and services. My room was on the second floor, facing the street. Location was also perfect. It takes about 5 minutes walking to visit the old town. I wanna say thank for all staff for making our trip unforgettable.

Amazing hostel, we stayed here as a couple backpacking and it was like a real hotel vibe, so a great treat after hosteling it for a while for no extra expense! Staff super friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was amazing too! Location was slightly set back but 5 min walk at the most to the bridge.

So I've been making my way south from Hanoi and have staid in some sketchy and phenomenal hostels and this one was fantastic! I booked with Lilac because they were in walking distance from where my bus dropped me off and I really lucked out on the quality of this place. For only $7 a night you get a pool,...

We stayed here around new years. I'm not picky, I backpacked through Asia and slept in some dodgy places. I just don't like being lied to. Here's the story: We moved from one room to another because we went to Da Nang for one night and they were fully booked after that. They welcomed us a little too cheery and...

My girlfriend and myself stayed at this "hotel", first of all they tried to charge us more than we agreed online, they then told us the room we have is no longer available (we pre booked over 2weeks). We got another room, so didn't really bother us, spent the night, ate by bed bugs (see pictures). Asked to change room,...

A spontanious visit ended up in a disaster. A 'dorm room' with four beds dumped next to each other, with a few cm space between them. The floor and sheets were dirty. A hurrendous smell. No locker, socket, light or curtains around the bed. And my iPhone charger got stolen while the room was cleaned. Everything looked neglected. Never coming...
