Booked on for 2 nights, stayed for 5! James and Mai are wonderful hosts and made the stay what it was. The rooms are spacious and nice, the breakfast is good, and most importantly the atmosphere is fantastic. James set up and took a large group of us on a day trip to the elephant springs which was lots of...

This hostel is part of the Vietnam Backpackers hostel. When we got here we'd had a rocky two week start down south in Vietnam and were ready to give up and go home. This hostel and team changed everything! Rooms were a nice size. The food was amazing, pulled pork burger was possibly the nicest pulled pork burger I've ever...

Stayed in DK's for 3 nights lovely rooms very clean. No bunk beds to be seen! Good breakfast. They offer a free cycling tour of the town everyday at 10am well worth it. They take you around and show you the best places to eat and the tour ends at the beach. We went on trip with them to Cham...

Room was ok fairly spacious and mainly clean (except bedding), no safe. When we asked about securing belongings (i.e. passport) we were advised the rooms were safe when locked as there was someone watching the entrance to the hostel...we arrived home late one night to find the person watching the door to be sleeping. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly and...

Ok place. It is a party hostel and was reminded of the annoying people i met at uni eho thought it was cool to get pissed everyday. That said, you can be a boring sod like me and its fine here. Initially i got a mouldy room that my nose didnt like much but changed it after one night. Ask...

DK's is fine as a place to stay in Hoi An. It's a social/party hostel but the bar crawl leaves about 10pm and after that it's quiet, which is great if that's what you want. Rooms are nice because they are not bunks and more like individual 2-4 person rooms. Bathrooms weren't great (although hot water!) - could have used...

I booked a stay here based on a pretty positive experience at their operation in Hanoi, thinking I could rely on similar quality and service. My bed here was almost twice as expensive in Hanoi, and in my opinion, completely not worth it - many other similarly priced options exist in Hoi An that would have been better than this....

Came here as a solo traveller off the back of the Buffalo Run run by the VBH branch (highly recommend btw) and ended up staying several days more. A great hostel to meet people, with the free cycling tour, the staff and their daily activities including pub crawl and the rooms were decent. Even when they were fully booked, they...

Went here in sept/October 2016 during my trip to SEA. Prior to arriving I had stayed at Vietnam backpackers in Hanoi and had a good time, so I knew I was in for a pleasurable stay. My expectations were were met by this hostel! Travelling with my girlfriend and three of our single friends was made easy by this hostel....

DK's house could be a really good hostel if the staff put as much effort into running the hostel as they do drinking. Positives: - well located - free bike rental - good common areas - comfortable beds - cheap happy hours Negatives: - Not well maintained (hot water broken in more than one dorm for entire duration of stay,...
