We visited the Victoria Falls in December 2015 and stayed at the David Livingstone Safari Lodge and Spa. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms spacious. The room has an en-suite bathroom with no door but separate toilet. The hotel staff are exceptionally helpful. Not once did I get the impression that they were only helping in the hope of receiving... More

The setting for this wonderful Lodge is straight out of the pages of a novel, set right on the magnificent Zambezi River where you see the most beautiful sunsets. I was travelling on my own and was very nervous but I need not have been. The staff were very helpful and friendly, my room was immaculate and the décor of... More

The setting of the hotel is great reminded me of the victorian old buildings and the decor around the hotel takes you back to the tales of the victorian days. I loved the room, Cleanliness was of high standard. The also provide turn down service which was a plus. The view from the room of the zambezi river is totally... More

We holidayed with my in-laws here, and what an experience it was! Perfect room, great experiences and adventures, excellent service and delicious meals! The views are just incredible and there are many activities that can keep you busy such as whitewater rafting, kyaking, safari's, sundowners, booze-cruises etc. This place is a must when travelling to the Falls!

A magnificent thatched Lodge on the banks of the Zambezi river. We were a large family group and had booked six rooms for three nights over the festive period. Three of the rooms were very good. Two rooms had faulty air conditioning and one had an issue with the toilet not flushing properly. Apart from this very nice and clean.... More

We spent our Christmas holiday here and it was an absolutely lovely stay. We were upgraded to the suite which was just amazing with a jacuzzi right in the middle of the suite! Totally enjoyed that! Everything was just fantastic at this lodge and I recommend this place highly.

Amazing place to relax. Just sit on the balcony and watch the calm waters and listen to the birds. Not much to do by way of activities but then this is the ultimate relaxation Do check the price of Buffet suppers before sitting down - can work out quite expensive.

Wow wow wow, be prepared to be blown away. Situated right on the banks of the mighty Zambezi river, just 5mins from the Victoria Falls. The welcome; the staff; the Zambezi river cruise to catch the sunset, while eating and drinking (included in the cost of the cruise) and viewing the animals...hippos, crocodile, birds, zebras...whatever you are lucky to spot.... The David Livingstone resort is a beautiful resort on the Zambezi river and I recommend it to anyone looking to stay on the Zambian side for a reasonable price. The resort itself, the restaurant, and the rooms are all clean, comfortable and relatively modern so we were happy with this. The customer service is probably the only part that let's... More
