A very handy location and within a few minutes' walk of restaurants and bars in Livingstone. Shady thatched building and high ceilings in bedrooms make it a good place to stay when it's hot. Bedrooms are squeaky clean and adequate size beds but bed linen and mattresses could do with replacing as rather tired. It is, however, extremely well priced.... More

A good meal made excellent by top class service. Thanks for being a good host and waitress. When ordering mutton korma make sure to ask that the chef have a light hand on the salt. The steak and samosas were excellent. Can recommend this restaurant with pleasure.

This is a great comfortable place to stay. The rooms have great vaulted ceilings with a thatch roof. As has been mentioned before, the showers have great pressure, which is really nice after a long day. The location is great - just a short and safe walk to many restaurants. If you're looking for a quiet and clean place to... More

Rooms are lovely and clean. Staff are very helpful. Stayed here for the first time in 2003 and second time was 2 weeks ago still a decent place to stay. Close to Victoria falls. Good value for money. Wifi available though not always connectable.

We had seen Victoria Falls on a previous visit and wanted to be close to our friends who live in Livingstone. Ngolide Lodge was in town and perfectly adequate for our one night. There is a quiet, center courtyard with green grass and a little stream. The surrounding building is deeply thatched--it is a nice place to sit. The rooms... More

Had looked for a lodge to bring my sister to in Livingstone and read the reviews on Ngolide. Was looking forward to spending time in the lodge. After a long dusty trip through the Kafue national park we were greeted warmly and given the keys to our rooms. The rooms were extremely small and when I tried to shower my... More

Arrived late night. Long weekend in Zambia. Only place with a room open. Took it and was very surprised. Neat room with all you need. Aircon, shower, fridge, TV and a decent bed. Breakfast is only a continental and can be missed as there is better to be found in town.
