Amazing view, great food, luxurious accommodations, hard to call this a "camp"! Short drive to both sides of the falls with the added bonus of being close to the white rhinos in Zambia! This was an add-on to our Botswana safari and Toka Leya and Victoria Falls are a must!

For anyone visiting Victoria Falls, you must view from the Zimbabwe side. But, I strongly recommend staying on the Zambia side near Livingstone in the classic camp Toka Leya. The camp has 12 ensuite tents located on the bank of the Zambesi River. With beautiful views and the opportunity to see wildlife both during game rides and on sunset boat...

We just arrived back in the states after a 17 day Cape Town/safari adventure. Toka Leya was our second camp after Londolozi in South Africa. After being totally blown away there, I wasn't sure what to expect here. Well they didn't disappoint us on any level. Richard, the manager was exceptional, and so was Caroline, the assistant seeing to our...

Toka Leya is a gorgeous bush camp located in the Mosi-oa-tunya game park. It is the closest camp to Victoria Falls. The camp is composed of twelve tents, a lodge, spa, fire pit and bar. It sits on the Zambezi river. A multitude of birds, monkeys, hippos and elephants come to visit. The staff, especially Carol, Amnon, Richard, Felix and...

Dear bfnorthidaho, Thank you for your wonderful review, we are thrilled to hear what great memories you have of your time spent with us. While there is little rain, the Zambezi River levels are still high, meaning that the flow over the Victoria Falls is spectacular. This lodge is right on the banks of the Zambezi and the tents are very luxurious while still blending with the beautiful natural environment. Thinking the main attraction for the lodge was Vic Falls, I had no idea there was so much wildlife in the park where the lodge is located, and that the setting would be so beautiful. Everything...
