Backpacking with my girlfriend and stayed here for a few nights. This place was wonderful, I've stayed in less nice hotels. Jollyboys is clean, comfortable and friendly. We had a minor bug issue with our room and staff were very helpful in helping us change rooms. Beds were comfortable, rooms clean, facilities are great and staff very helpful and friendly.... More

We stayed at Jollyboys for three days in August 2016 as part of a prolonged weekend in Livingstone. We were three people staying in a private room which was absolutely fine. The facilities at the hostel are great - especially their cafe/restaurant which also serves as a bar. Its a wonderful open space right next to the pool area, and... More

Lively hostel with knowledgable and helpful staff. We booked a few tours through their tour desk and had a traditional Zambian massage. Nice pool with a good place to laze about around the bar area. Would use again!

There are bunk bed rooms and camping options. We three shared a four bunk room, with the 75+ year olds taking the bottom bunks in the clean but small room. To compensate there are a variety of outdoor seating areas from quiet-let-me-work-on-my-journal to restaurant side tables with soccer on TV. There are a laundry & pool, and there are regular... I've stayed at this hostel twice - so suffice to say, it was good enough to go back. The pool & lounge area along with the staff are the highlights of this hostel. Very nice chill out areas and very friendly staff willing to answer questions and help out. I also met lots of cool people while staying there, so... More

Clean facilities. Friendly staff. Great travel desk from which you can book virtually any activity in the region, even a trip into Chobe. Decent restaurant albeit a little pricey for the size of the portions. Plenty of toilets and showers, rarely busy. Lively bar with live music and dance performances sometimes taking place. Right next to the Livingstone Museum which... More

This is probably the least amount of money we spent during our 3 days visit to Zambia. The country is so crazy expensive. While they have kwacha as the currency, all rates for excursions and activities are quoted in USD. If it weren't for the incessant mosquitoes, I'd call The hostel a little haven. They do a lot of socially... More

The grounds are great, it is so nice to have cats that will come and cuddle with you when lounging on the cushions outside. The rooms are nice with plenty of room, we had a 4 one night and a 3 the other nights and liked them both. The place is kept very clean and the beds are comfortable. Food... More

Stayed here because of the good reviews and setup. Linen in the dorm was extremely clean and beds very sturdy. Hot water every morning in the showers and bathrooms are very clean. The adventure helpdesk will help with any activity related requests and even help you is you didn't book it through them. Guest kitchen could do with a thorough... More

We came off a very long tour and found Jollyboys a great place to relax and recharge for a couple of days. Great food options (which on one day we only went for - breakfast, lunch and dinner!), and a nice room with amenities close by.
