Dreadful (if thankfully short) vehicle access, dilapidated public areas, poor food and friendly but slow service. Yes, I know it's Africa! Great outlook from the terrace is a saving grace. I've not seen inside the chalets but I doubt if I'd be impressed. The whole...More
We stayed at this lodge for 2 nights and we really enjoyed it. It is very beautiful place, where you can watch sunset from the terrace, elephants coming to drink from the river, it is like safari. The whole area is very nice. One night...More
Unfortunately this place has gone down hill since my last visit. The restaurant staff was rude and prejudice. Our bream fish was served frozen and the burger was burned. The staff tried to deny responsibility and make us pay for it. Avoid this place if...More
Not a bad place, nothing really outstanding but fine to stay for a few nights.
Lots of mosquitos, could have been time of year but be prepared for swarms of these.
Bar service excellent. Food in restaurant pretty good but service a bit slow.

We were able to arrange all of our activities through their front desk staff. They made all the calls and arranged our pick up and drop to the lodge. We did a safari at Chobe, fishing trip with Angle Zambia, and we got our own taxi to Victoria Falls but they can also arrange that for you. Just make sure to tell the kitchen staff you will need your breakfast ready early on days with early activities. As they don't serve breakfast until after most activities are set to leave the lodge... which is sort of silly. :)
