We stayed in both the 'Luxury Tent' and 'Chalet' options which were similarly priced. The accommodation was far more basic than we expected for the cost. There were lizards in our room and the mosquito nets and sheets had holes in them from moths. Everything was quite dusty and with the tent option our shower was outside - which made...

Stayed here on my first night and on my first visit to Southern Africa. Had one of the permanent tents a spacious clean room, comfy bed, mosquito net and with an outdoor shower. Perfect. The bar is situated on the river, hippos, crocodiles and elephants. It's just outside of town and really close to the border with Zimbabwe. Breakfast and...

Very friendly staff, lovely setting on riverside. Wonderful different chalets... but the whole place could do with proper cleaning. Breakfast was just... breakfast with no options. Not enough staff. The place has seen better days. Beds backs are broken, so soft, yours might be broken in the morning to.

Our chalet was beautiful and so comfortable. The beds were heavenly and included bed nets. The bathroom in our chalet was super clean and the shower had plenty of hot water. I highly recommend the chalets! The grounds were absolutely beautiful and seeing hippos every night on the river was a real treat. The pool and terrace are lovely and...

Our room was perfectly clean and on the river. We were woken up to hippos making noise on the river. The breakfast which was included had hot options including omelettes. The lodge helped us coordinate our tour of Victoria Falls from the Zambian side and transport on into Zimbabwe.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities and food were a bit basic, however the bar and restaurant have attractive terraces overlooking a lagoon with resident hippos that provide a bit of entertainment. We found the website to be a little misleading regarding the accommodation, we ended up with bunk beds in our room that we didn't book for. Anyway...

I stayed in a luxury tent, which was quite comfortable. Had the best sleep in days. Tent and amenities were well designed. I liked the open air shower for it gives the feeling of being in the bush without sacrificing comfort. Staff were efficient and well-trained. They seem to like their place of work.

Stayed here several times. Nothing to write home about in terms of rooms and/or restaurant. However, it is peaceful, food quality good & of value for money. Staff always friendly and willing to assist. Lounge/bar view is good and of the Maramba River with resident hippos all year round (sometimes the resident large crocodile) . Most chalets/tents are set within...

We stayed there for three days and it was a mesmerizing experience. If you are visiting livingstone and staying somewhere in downtown or any other hotel at usual place, you are wasting some good opportunities. A must stay place for following reasons 1. Very close to nature. Green with lot of trees. It gives you a very different feeling of...

We stayed here for the first few days of our African trip and although its not the flashiest joint in Livingstone it still ticks the boxes and the price is right. Its about half way between Livingston township and Victoria falls which is great. Rooms were very clean and tidy, food was plentiful and tasty and service was great as...
