I took my family (wife and child aged 10) and was excited to try this hotel, as many people recommended it. A few things to keep in mind before choosing this hotel. 1. It is a “wide” hotel, meaning it is only 3 floors, but is very spaced out. This means prepare to walk a lot! The beach also can be quite far from your room, so make sure to book a room near it if you do not want to walk too much. 2. As the hotel is in Ayla, all taxis will swindle you and charge you 5 JOD (about USD7) to take you from anywhere in the city to the hotel. This is not the hotel’s fault, so try to haggle with the driver. However, if you choose to take a “private” taxi from the hotel to anywhere in the city, that will cost the same. 3. There is a tainted glass wall separating the bathroom from the rest of the room. If you are with family, not something to worry about. However, if you are going with a friend, and are a bit self-conscious, don’t worry as the glass is not transparent. They would only see a silhouette of you taking a shower. The good: The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms are what you’d expect from a 5-star hotel. The balcony is nice, especially at night. The beds and pillows are comfortable. Free mini bar, which includes water, soft drinks and juice. Lots of electrical outlets to charge all your devices. The size is decent, but I would not call it a big room, but it’s more than enough. Staff are generally friendly. At the beach, they will give you a free bottle of water (330 ml) per person but might charge you for any extra water. The food was ok, nothing too fancy, but nothing bad either. The not-so-good: The service is very slow. Maybe the hotel is understaffed and overwhelmed, but that is not an excuse. Every time we needed something from the front desk, you would need at least 10 to 15 minutes standing in line. Also, we asked and paid for an extra bed. After several calls to the front desk, the bed was delivered at 9 pm (we checked in at 1 pm). In conclusion, the experience was enjoyable, but a few improvements would have made it spectacular.

I went for business and wasn't expecting much from the visit, but I literally did not need to leave the resort and could have easy spect at leat 2-3 more days. I was greeted by Ibrahim, who also made the stay extra convenient, originally, the booking agent misspelt my name, and this was supposed to be a headache, but Ibrahim handled the situation professionally, there was also a music concert happening the same day, but he managed to make things go smooth. The rooms are top quality; everything is mint-clean and updated, the food in the restaurant is very good quality, you have to try the pastry, they are scrumptious. Although the weather is not ideal, but the La Plage heated pool was super convenient to swim at and the water is sparkly clean. The best thing about the hotel is being conveniently located at the heart of Ayla with an array of cafe's and restaurants to chose from. I was able to catch up on work in Menage and had the best burger at Tipsy Cow, and I was able to accomodate casual meetings in Mingle and Rakeen. Overall, the stay was very satisfying; everything is close by, the service is impeccable, and I would definitely come back again soon.

The best house keeping is chakra deuba is from Nepal he was so kind and the room was always so perfect , he would cater to any request and always had a smile on his face and was always treated us with so much warmth. We always had extra towels and he even made us a swan from the towels , the kids were mesmerized . He truly is someone amazing to have around and take care of little personal details. The hotel made a very good impression on us. Everything is at the highest level here, but the real atmosphere is created by the ladies and gentlemen who work hard in the hotel service. They are wonderful, very hard-working and full of smiles (extremely friendly) people.
Most of all we would like to thank the polite and very helpful Shaym (Shayme), who works in the "Olive tree" restaurant during breakfast time. He is a wonderful man who talked about the hotel and what is worth seeing in Jordan. He has a lot of knowledge and shared his information with great kindness.
The second person is Raju (house keeping) who looked after our hotel room. When we returned, we always found everything beautifully cleaned and decorated with figures made of towels. Thank you very much for all this!
In general, it is worth emphasizing that the people working at the "Olive tree" restaurant are a wonderful crew. Always ready to help, answer questions and joke with a smile during a conversation. We really haven't seen such a great team for a long time!
A huge advantage of the hotel is its excellent cuisine. We were simply delighted! Basically, there is nothing that would disappoint us or worry us. The only suggestion we have is to provide guests with more bottled water, as it would be advisable at these temperatures.
Apart from that, everything is at the highest level and we certainly want to come back here and recommend the hotel to our friends!

In my experience, I was very scammed by this hotel. They are dishonest about things and tend to a lot. When I got to the hotel, I ended up paying way more than what I initially booked which I thought was weird considering I got my room downgraded. My first room was not clean and the AC was not working. The hotel staff kept telling me “it will get colder” but it never did and I had to move rooms at midnight. Every service I asked for took 15+ mins to get to my room which was inconvenient. Be advised that this hotel uncharges ALOT on taxis/transportation because they only provide a private car otherwise you need to walk for 5 mins to the gate to flag down a local taxi. This was inconvenient for me when I wanted to go to the airport. I was forced to pay 20 JODs for a car to take me on a 5 min ride to the airport. While the local taxi that brought me from the airport to the hotel only charged me 10 JOD. On a positive note, the staff members were kind and always available near the pool and restaurant areas. I would NOT recommend this hotel if your looking to come to Aqaba explore other options.

Such a disappointing value for money. Extremely overpriced, I understand it was a last minute booking on a long weekend, but still 1200 for 2 nights felt like a ripoff. Housekeeping never cleaned the room until we called them at 6pm. AC was barely working (and it was not even a hot humid Aqaba at the time). For design; they have a love for cheap white aluminium doors/windows, which makes it look more like an early 1990’s hotel. Would never be here again.

This hotel was PERFECT for our family. Everything is so modern and updated. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with beautiful balcony overlooking either the marina or lagoon. Everything you need is on and close to the property. The lagoon beach area was an amazing experience. At first we were concerned that it’s a smaller lagoon area instead of an open sea beach experience. However we quickly came to appreciate the calm lagoon beachfront. The water was immaculate and clear. It was so warm and refreshing. There are enough chairs and umbrellas all around and plenty of showers to rinse off. You are greeted when you walk in and supplied with a beach towel and bottle of water. There is a poolside cafe to order cold drinks and snacks or meals. It made everything about going to the beach to swim SO convenient. There is also a pool behind the lagoon so you can go from lagoon to pool and back easily. The pool is heated and very clean. Service at the hotel is top notch. The breakfast buffet had so many options and everything was delicious. We were always too full for lunch.
This was one of our most relaxing hotel experiences! You won’t regret coming here

I had such an amazing experience, the hotel is plenty of swimming pools for relaxing and it even have a private piece of beach, with a lovely sunset. Room felt very comfortable and cosy, bathroom installation is the best I've seen so far.
